BCECE Exam Pattern Overview

  • BCECE exam 2023 will be conducted online for 4.5 hours.
  • The sectional-time limit for each section is 1 hour 30 minutes.
  • Each section in the question paper includes 100 questions and carries four marks. However, one mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
  • The question paper also includes 300 MCQs that you can answer in English or Hindi.

  • Each question carries 4 marks. However, 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
  • The total number of questions in the BCECE exam is 300. The maximum mark for the exam is 1200.

Minimum Qualifying Marks for BCECE 2024

  • You need to score a maximum of 50% marks in the BCECE exam to consider the ranking. However, the updated BCECE qualifying marks will be updated here.
  • However, those who belong to the reserved category need to score at least 40% in the exam.
  • Candidates belonging to the General-PH category need to score a minimum qualifying mark of 45%, i.e., 540.

BCECE exam 2023 includes 5 subjects- Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, and Agriculture. Candidates can choose the subjects of their choice depending on the course they want to apply for. Here is the subject combination available:

  • If the authorities find tampering in the OMR sheet, they will be deemed disqualified. 
  • You must not get into an argument with the invigilator or any other staff at the exam centre.
  • You must carry a valid original ID proof and the admit card on the exam day.
  • You must not carry any electronic device or study material like (Mobile, Bluetooth, Pager, watch, test series, books, model papers, etc., to the exam hall.
