What is CTET Exam?

The Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE) administers the CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test), a national-level teaching eligibility exam. The CTET exam is usually held twice a year to determine applicants’ qualifications for teaching positions at Central Government Schools such as KVS, NVS, and others.

Candidates who pass the paper may apply for a position as a primary or secondary school teacher, depending on the paper they passed. CTET is a written test comprising two papers: paper 1 and paper 2, each of which is dependent on the position for which candidates apply in CTET.
