For Junior Engineer (Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Civil) profile candidate will be selected on the basis of following process:
- Written Exams (2 papers)
- Personal Interview
- Medical examination
For Station Controller, Train Operator and Customer Relations Assistant, profile candidate will be selected on the basis of following process:
- Writing Test
- Psychometric Test
- Personal Interview
- Medical Examination
For Maintainer profile candidate will be selected on the basis of following process:
- Written Test
- Medical Examination

DMRC exam contains total 180 marks with a total of 180 number of questions. There is also a negative marking scheme. Here we are listed the marking scheme pattern:
- For each correct answer you will be awarded 1 marks.
- For each incorrect answer 1/3 marks will be deducted.
- For an unanswered questions, there is not negative marking.
