Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship 2024-2025: An Overview

The government of Chandigarh provides this scholarship for the welfare of students belonging to economically backward classes to provide financial aid to the meritorious students of the region. It covers aid for services like maintenance fees, tuition fees, non-refundable fees, and other such charges. Only candidates who are permanent residents of Chandigarh are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The candidates applying for this scholarship must study at a recognized Chandigarh institution. The applicant’s family income must be less than INR 1 lakh per annum.

2. Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship, Haryana

This scholarship is provided by the government of Haryana for the welfare of the economically backward classes, scheduled castes, tribes, DNT, Tapriwas Jati, etc., to provide financial aid to the meritorious students of the state. It covers aid for services like maintenance fees, tuition fees, non-refundable fees, and other such charges. Only candidates who are permanent residents of Haryana are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

The candidates can get financial aid of INR 8000 to INR 12000 per annum. The candidates applying for this scholarship must be studying in class 11 through post-graduation in a recognized institution in Chandigarh. The family income of the applicant must not be more than INR 4 LPA per annum.

3. Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship, Tripura

This scholarship is provided by the government of Tripura for the welfare of the students belonging to the economically backward classes to provide financial aid to the meritorious students of the region. It covers aid for services like maintenance fees, tuition fees, non-refundable fees, and other such charges.

Only candidates who are permanent residents of the state of Tripura are eligible for this scholarship. The candidates applying for this scholarship must be pursuing education at the post-matriculation level at a government-recognized institution in Tripura. The applicant’s family income cannot exceed INR 1 lakh per year.

4. Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship, Punjab

This scholarship is provided by the government of Punjab for the welfare of the students belonging to the economically backward classes to provide financial aid to the meritorious students of the region. Only candidates with permanent residence in Punjab are eligible for these scholarship benefits.
