GATE Result 2020 has been released on 13 March 2020. The exam conducting authority will not send the results to students offline though any method like post or mail. It has been released on 14 March 2020 by IIT Delhi. Only the students who had successfully applied and appeared for the examination can check their result from the official website. They can download and see their result/scorecard by filling their “Enrollment Id”, “Registration No.” & “Date of Birth” in the given download result link. GATE Result 2020
Candidates can check GATE Result via online mode through the official website. For the admission process, it is advised that the candidates take a printout of GATE Result 2020.

GATE 2020 Cut Off
GATE Cut off is the minimum marks to be eligible for admission to IITs and IISc. This is the factor that decides whether or not has the candidate qualified for the exam. GATE 2020 cut off varies stream-wise and category-wise. The cutoff marks are less for reserved category candidates as compared to the unreserved category candidates. The gate cutoff for this year is as shown below:

IIT Delhi conducted the GATE Examination on 1st, 2nd, 8th and 9th February 2020. The result has been declared on 13 March 2020 via online mode only. Those who have successfully appeared in the examination will be able to download their GATE Result from the official website. Once all the process will are successfully conducted then the counselling process will be started from April 2020.
How to download GATE Result
Candidates can download their result by following the below-given steps:
- Visit the official website.
- Click on Download link.
- Result Window will be opened on the computer screen.
- Enter “Enrollment Id”, “Registration No.” & “Date of Birth” and check your result.
- Click on the “Login” button.
- The result will be displayed on the screen.
- Click on the download button.
- Take a printout of it for further use.
GATE Answer Key
Once the exam has been conducted successfully by the conducting authority, they will release GATE Answer Key after one week. The answer key will be available through online mode only for question papers. Students will able to check their performance in the examination through this answer key.
GATE Score Card
The scorecard has been released, and those who have successfully appeared for the examination will be able to download their scorecard. It will be valid until the next three years from the date of result declaration. Candidates can download a soft copy of scorecard by paying Rs. 500 in the website from May 2020. The scorecard is also useful in the recruitment process by PSUs for government and private sector like BHEL, ONGC, SAIL, GAIL etc. & for pursuing ME/M. Tech and Direct PhD from NITs, IITs and CFITs.
GATE CCMT Counselling
Only those candidates who qualify the GATE 2020 will be eligible to sit in the counselling procedure for admission in the top institutions which is conducted by the COAP. IIT, Delhi conducted the whole examination process. They will not be responsible for the common counselling for admission to the PG courses. Candidates need to apply for the IITs individually. All NITs will also conduct Centralized Counseling for M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan Admission (CCMT). The process will be handled by the NITs for admission to the NITs & other centrally funded institutions. NITs will conduct the counselling procedure on the basis of the GATE scorecard. It will be held in the month of April 2020 through online mode.
