Conditions to Fill The CAT Application Form 2024

• You need to register on the official website to generate a unique user ID and password.
• Log in with the generated user ID and password to fill the CAT application form.
• You need to submit the CAT application form by entering your personal, education, and work details and making online payment to complete the CAT registration process.
• During the registration, you need to enter your valid mobile number and email address which will be used for candidate verification with the help of OTP.
• Once the OTP is verified, the candidates will receive an ID and password.
• Once you have made the payment, you will not be allowed to change your application form. So make sure you provide the right information before submitting the application form.

Note: You don’t have to fill out the application form at once. You can save the changes and continue whenever you want to.

While filling the CAT application form, you must keep the scanned copy of the following documents:

• 10th mark sheet.
• 12th mark sheet.
• Bachelor’s degree mark sheet.
• Final year certificate from Principal and previous year mark sheet (if the candidate is in the final year college.)
• Work experience document.
• Category certificate.
• I scanned a copy of the passport-size photo and signature. [Your passport-size photo should not be more than six months old]

Here is a step-by-step guide to fill in your CAT application form.

Step 1: Go to the CAT official website and register:

You need to register yourself if you are a new user.

Click on the “register” button and enter the following information:

• Name of the candidate (given in the Class 10th/12th mark sheet)
• Date of birth
• Valid email address
• Valid mobile number
• OTP

To complete the registration process, you need to generate an OTP by clicking on “Generate OTP,” and then you will be directed to a CAPTCHA page. You need to submit the OTP you received on your registered number.

After entering the OTP, go to “Validate OTP,” and then you will receive a unique registration ID and password on your registered email ID and phone number.

Once you enter the CAPTCHA, you need to click on the “I agree” checkbox in the declaration column.

Registration confirmation:

Once you register, you will receive the login details on your registered mobile number however, if you did not receive it.

Step 2: Log in to the CAT official website:

You need to log in to the official website using the CAT user ID and password. Once you have logged in, you will be redirected to the applicant’s details page.

Click on the “Go to application form” tab near the personal details.

Step 3: Fill out the CAT application form:

• Communication address details.

CAT Test Cities

In this section, you need to enter 6 CAT Test cities as per your preference. One out of the six preferences will be allotted to the students based on their availability.

If the preferred CAT exam center is not allotted, then the nearby test city will be allotted.

Note: You cannot choose the same city for multiple preferences.

Step 4: CAT Application Fees Payment

After filling the application form, the last step is to pay the application fees online.

The CAT application fees are different for each category:
