The application process of NEET 2020 has ended. It was available from 2 December 2019 to 6 January 2020 (11:50 pm) on the official website of the examination. NEET 2020 examination will be conducted on 26 July 2020. Prerequisites of the Application Process

The candidates must keep the following handy, before starting the application process of NEET 2020:

How to apply for NEET 2020?

The candidates can follow the steps given below to apply for NEET 2020:

The application procedure comprises of 4 steps. 1) Filling the form 2) Uploading the Documents 3) Making the Payment and 4) Taking a print out of the confirmation page.


  • NEET 2020 Application Form will be available through online mode only.
  • Visit the official website of NTA.
  • Register on the website by filling in the mandatory details like personal details, contact information, qualification details, etc.


  • Upload the scanned copies of your photograph, signature and the impression of your index finger in the given format


  • Pay your application fee via online or offline mode as per your convenience.


  • It is advised that the candidates take a printout of the confirmation page for future references after the successful submission of the application fee.
  • The application of the candidates who haven’t received their digitally generated confirmation page will be treated as cancelled.

Steps to retrieve forgotten NEET Application Number

In case the candidates forget the NEET login password, they can easily reset it using the steps mentioned below:

  • Visit the official website of NEET.
  • Click on the link “NEET 2020 – Find Application No.”
  • Enter your credentials
  • Enter your Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, DOB, Category, and Security PIN and click on submit.
  • You will receive your application number on your registered mobile number.

Steps to retrieve forgotten NEET Password

In case the candidates forget the NEET login password, they can easily reset it using the steps mentioned below:

  • Visit the official website of NEET.
  • Click on the ‘Forgot Password’ button.
  •  Enter your NEET Application Number, Name & Date of Birth
  • Candidates will be provided with two options- through OTP/ through Security Question
  • Choose any one of the above-mentioned options.
  • Retrieve your password and make sure you save your password this time.

Application Fee

  • For General and OBC candidate, the application fee is INR 1400/-
  • For SC/ST & PH candidates, the application fee is INR 750/-
  • Candidates can pay the application fee via both online(debit or credit card) and offline mode(e-challan of Syndicate, SBI, ICICI Bank or HDFC bank).

NEET Common Service Centres/ Facilitation Centers

National Testing Agency has built various Common Service Centres (CSC) to help candidates in filling the application forms and submitting the application fee. Their services, along with the Fee charged, are as given below:

NEET Photo Size Format

  • The passport size photograph of the candidate must be clicked in a clear background.
  • Candidates must mention their name and date of the click on the passport size photograph.
  • The passport size photograph should not be more than 4-month-old.
  • The passport size photographs should have either a blue or a white background.
  • Candidates need to click their passport size photographs with a relaxed face.
  • Do not upload blur images in the application form as it can lead your candidature towards cancellation.
  • Those who are clicking their picture through smartphone must ensure that they do not have a red eye or eye glow in the picture.
  • The candidates with spectacle must ensure that their glasses do not glare during the click.
  • Passport size photographs should be taken in school uniform.
  • The format of the photographs should be JPEG or JPG.
  • The passport size photographs size should be between 1 Kb to 100 Kb.
  • The dimensions of the passport size photographs should lie between 3.5 cm(height)* 4.5 cm(width).

    in my aadhar only the year of birth ,there is no date and month.I take my aadhar in when i studied in std.6.with this aadhar i apply for the exam time is there any problem with this id proof
