SBI Clerk Exam 2020: The official notification for SBI Clerk was out on January 2, 2020 and the registrations had started from January 3rd, 2020. The registrations were open until 26th January 2020. The exam facilitates the recruitment of the posts of- Junior Associates (JA).

SBI Clerk Notification

The State Bank of India had released the official notification for SBI Clerk Exam on 2nd January 2020. The application form was active from January 3rd to January 26th. There are two phases of this exam- the Prelims and Mains examination. The Preliminary exam will be conducted on 22nd and 29th February and 1st and 8th March 2020. Whereas, the Mains exam will be conducted on 19th April 2020. It is to be noted that, candidates who clear both the exams are called for an interview and it is only after the interview SBI  gives a Job Offer.

SBI Clerk 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The Candidates must fulfill the SBI Clerk 2020 Eligibility Criteria in order to Apply for the examination.

  • The candidate is required to be a citizen of India.
  • A candidate is required to be between 20-28 years to be eligible for SBI Clerk 2020 exam.
  • He/she must hold a valid graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

SBI Clerk 2020 Exam Pattern

The State Bank Exam will be conducted  in 2 phases,

  • Prelims.
  • Mains Examination.

It is very important to know the exam pattern for both the exam- Prelims and Mains before writing the exam. In the Prelims, there are three sections – Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language. Whereas, in the Mains exam there is an additional section – General/Financial Awareness. The candidates should also know that there are sectional timings applicable in both of these exams. However, there is no sectional cutoff applicable.

  • Those Candidates who clear the Prelims examination can appear in the Mains Examination

  • The number of questions for Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, General/ Finance Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude is 50 and the Number of questions for General English is 40.
  • The Total Time duration for the Mains Examination is 2 Hrs 40 Minutes.

 

SBI Clerk Salary: Pay Scale

This indicated that the starting salary for a fresher will be Rs 11,765 with year on increment Rs 665. Whereas the maximum basic pay is Rs 31,450.

SBI Clerk 2020 Syllabus

The Syllabus for SBI Clerk 2020 is the same as in previous years. However, the candidates must note that the syllabus for the Preliminary and Mains exam isn’t the same. It is very important to not confuse both of these syllabus.

SBI Clerk 2020 Admit Card

Those candidates who have successfully registered for the SBI Clerk preliminary exam can download their admit card on 11th February 2020.  The admit card is released via online mode only. The candidates must note that there are separate Admit cards for the Preliminary and Mains exam. The admit card for the Prelims will be released 15 days prior to the exam.

However, it is only those candidates who clear Preliminary examination who will be able to download the Mains admit card. The admit card for the Mains exam will be released in April.

SBI Clerk 2020 Result

The candidates can check their results online. The results will be declared on the offical SBI site. The result for Prelims will be released in the second week of March. However, the results for the Mains exam will be released in the fourth week of April.

  • Go to SBI Clerk Result Link.
  • The Link will open in the new tab.
  • Enter Registration No., Password and Security Pin and press Submit button.

SBI Clerk 2020 Cutoff

The State Bank of India also releases the separate cutoff for both prelims and mains examination. the SBI Clerk 2020 Cutoff will be release with the SBI Clerk Result. The Cutoff will be different for the different states, check below previous years cut off.
