SBI Clerk Notification
The State Bank of India had released the official notification for SBI Clerk Exam on 2nd January 2020. The application form was active from January 3rd to January 26th. There are two phases of this exam- the Prelims and Mains examination. The Preliminary exam will be conducted on 22nd and 29th February and 1st and 8th March 2020. Whereas, the Mains exam will be conducted on 19th April 2020. It is to be noted that, candidates who clear both the exams are called for an interview and it is only after the interview SBI gives a Job Offer.

The Candidates must fulfill the SBI Clerk 2020 Eligibility Criteria in order to Apply for the examination.
- The candidate is required to be a citizen of India.
- A candidate is required to be between 20-28 years to be eligible for SBI Clerk 2020 exam.

SBI Clerk 2020 Exam Pattern
The State Bank Exam will be conducted in 2 phases,
- Prelims.
- Mains Examination.
It is very important to know the exam pattern for both the exam- Prelims and Mains before writing the exam. In the Prelims, there are three sections – Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language. Whereas, in the Mains exam there is an additional section – General/Financial Awareness. The candidates should also know that there are sectional timings applicable in both of these exams. However, there is no sectional cutoff applicable.

- The SBI Clerk Prelims Examination will be conducted on February 22nd and 29th and March 1st and 8th 2020
- There are three sections in the Prelims examination- English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability
- Each section will have separate timing of 20 Minutes
- There are a total number of 100 questions in the Prelims examination
- There are 30 questions in the English section and 35 each in the other two sections
- All the Candidates must clear the Cutoff in order to appear for Mains examination

- Those Candidates who clear the Prelims examination can appear in the Mains Examination
- The Mains Examination will have 4 Sections- General/ Finance Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude.
- The number of questions for Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, General/ Finance Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude is 50 and the Number of questions for General English is 40.
- The Total Time duration for the Mains Examination is 2 Hrs 40 Minutes.
SBI Clerk Salary: Pay Scale

This indicated that the starting salary for a fresher will be Rs 11,765 with year on increment Rs 665. Whereas the maximum basic pay is Rs 31,450.

SBI Clerk 2020 Admit Card
Those candidates who have successfully registered for the SBI Clerk preliminary exam can download their admit card on 11th February 2020. The admit card is released via online mode only. The candidates must note that there are separate Admit cards for the Preliminary and Mains exam. The admit card for the Prelims will be released 15 days prior to the exam.
However, it is only those candidates who clear Preliminary examination who will be able to download the Mains admit card. The admit card for the Mains exam will be released in April.
SBI Clerk 2020 Result
The candidates can check their results online. The results will be declared on the offical SBI site. The result for Prelims will be released in the second week of March. However, the results for the Mains exam will be released in the fourth week of April.
