The list will contain certain details such as the Roll Number of the candidate, Name, Rank, and Overall marks. It is also important to know that overall marks of candidates will be displayed here irrespective of whether they have obtained the required cutoffs or not.

At times, there are also possibilities for a tie score between candidates in the final Merit list. In cases where more than two candidates obtain the same overall combined score, then priority will be given to one who has scored more in the written test, which is a Tier 2 exam.

If the situation still remains unresolved, then the marks of candidates in the Tier 1 or Tier 2 exam are considered in order to prepare the mark list accordingly.

However, when candidates perform and obtain similar marks in all the Tier exams, then their date of birth will be compared, and the older candidate will be given preference over the other. Further on, there is also a chance of candidates being of the same age in such a scenario. So, the SSC will then rank the candidates alphabetically wise while preparing the rank list.
