SSC CPO Exam Pattern & Selection Procedure

SSC CPO Examination contains two stages of the examination i.e. Paper I and Paper II. Candidates who qualify both the stage of the examination will go for the next stage of the examination i.e. PET Physical Endurance Test.  The selection is totally based on the final performance, those who will clear all stage of the examination will take as qualified for the SSC CPO Examination.

SSC CPO Exam Pattern – Paper II

  • Type of Questions: Objective/Multiple Choice Question will be asked in both the question papers.
  • The medium of the Questions Paper: Question Paper will be asked Bilingual (Hindi and English) of Paper I (Except English Section).
  • Marking Scheme:
    • For each incorrect answer, 1/4 marks will be deducted in Paper 1 or Paper 2.
    • For Each Correct Answer, One Marks will be awarded to the candidates.
  • According to the previous year trends, the authority will fix the final marks for getting selection or to be qualifying the examination.
  • If there is any additional stages of the examination required then authority can add in the examination.

SSC CPO PET Test

Here candidates will get complete information about SSC CPO Physical Eligibility Test which are given below:

Male Candidates

  • 100 metre race in 16 seconds
  • 1.6 Km Race in 6.5 minutes
  • Long Jump: 3.65 metres in 5 chances
  • High Jump: 1.2 metres in 3 chances
  • Short put 16 LBS: 4.5 metres in 3 chances

Female Candidates

  • 100 metre race in 18 second
  • 800 metre race in 4 minutes
  • Long Jump: 2.7 metres or 9 feet in 3 chances
  • High Jump: 0.9 metres or 3 feet in 3 chances

SSC CPO Medical Test

Criteria for the Medical Test is given below:

  • Minimum Near Vision: N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye)
  • Minimum Distant Vision: 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye)
  • Must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes
  • Eye standards should be without visual correction of any kind even by glasses.
