SSC CPO Exam Pattern 2024: Marking Scheme & Difficulty Level

Every year staff service commission conducted SSC CPO Examination to recruit candidates for the post of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), and Assistant Sub Inspectors in CISF. These posts are of the central level. Candidates who want to serve in this department need to apply for SSC CPO Examination. SSC CPO Exam Pattern 2024-25

SSC CPO Examination contains two stages of the examination i.e. Paper I and Paper II. Candidates who qualify in both the stage of the examination will go for the next stage of the examination i.e. PET Physical Endurance Test. The selection is totally based on the final performance, candidates who clear all stages of the examination will be considered qualified for the SSC CPO Examination.

SSC CPO Exam Pattern: Paper-II

  • Type of Questions: Objective/Multiple Choice Questions will be asked in both the question papers.
  • The medium of the Questions Paper: The Question Paper will be asked in Bilingual (Hindi and English) in Paper I (Except the English Section).
  • Marking Scheme:
    • For each incorrect answer, 1/4 marks will be deducted in Paper 1 or Paper 2.
    • For Each Correct Answer, one mark will be awarded to the candidates.
  • According to the previous year’s trends, the authority will fix the final marks for getting selection or to be qualifying for the examination.
  • If there are any additional stages of the examination required, then the authority can add the same to the examination.

SSC CPO PET Test 2024-25

Here candidates will get complete information about SSC CPO Physical Eligibility Test:

Male Candidates

  • 100-meter race in 16 seconds
  • 1.6 Km Race in 6.5 minutes
  • Long Jump: 3.65 meters in 5 chances
  • High Jump: 1.2 meters in 3 chances
  • Short put 16 LBS: 4.5 meters in 3 chances

Female Candidates

  • 100-meter race in 18 second
  • 800-meter race in 4 minutes
  • Long Jump: 2.7 meters or 9 feet in 3 chances
  • High Jump: 0.9 meters or 3 feet in 3 chances

SSC CPO Medical Test

Criteria for the Medical Test are given below:

  • Minimum Near Vision: N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye)
  • Minimum Distant Vision: 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye)
  • Must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, or squint in eyes
  • Eye standards should be without visual correction of any kind even by glasses.

SSC CPO Paper 1 Syllabus

Paper 1 Syllabus is combined from the given four sections which is listed below:

  • English Comprehension

1. General Reasoning

Verbal Reasoning, Syllogism, Circular Seating Arrangement, Linear Seating Arrangement, Double Lineup, Scheduling, Input-Output, Blood Relations, Directions and Distances, Ordering and Ranking, Data Sufficiency, Coding and Decoding, Code Inequalities.

2. General Knowledge

Current Affairs, Awards, and Honours, Books and Authors, Sports, Entertainment, Obituaries, Important Dates.
