UPTET 2018: Teacher’s eligibility test will be on November 18

News

The proposed Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) has been deferred on November 4. Now the teacher’s eligibility test will be held on 18 November. With the pressure of BTC 2015 batch trainees and the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) on November 4, the Secretary Examination Regulatory Authority had sought time from the government for the Teet.

UPTET Exam Dates Announced 2018:

Before the start of the fourth semester of BTC 2015, on October 8, all paper leaks had to be canceled. Due to this, recruitment of 95 thousand teachers proposed in December generated the risk of getting out of 72668 trainees of the BTC-15 batch.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured the BTC trainees in Gorakhpur that their examination will be done soon. Following the assurance of the Chief Minister, a meeting of the officers of the Basic Education Department has been called in Lucknow from 4 pm on Friday.

It is believed that the decision can be taken if the BTC 2015 Fourth semester examinations are held early in the meeting. If this happens then the TET will have to be discarded because it will not be possible to prepare for both examinations simultaneously. Setting up of TET will provide relief to BTC trainees as the probability of joining the teacher recruitment will increase if the exam is late.
