XLRI Jamshedpur has established the pattern for XAT 2024. According to the official XAT 2024 pattern, the exam will have three parts, each with its sectional time limits. The first part of the XAT 2024 question paper will include Decision-making, Verbal & Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability, & Data Interpretation, totaling 175 minutes.
The second part will entail a 5-minute session for mock keyboard testing, while the third part will feature a General Knowledge section alongside a short essay topic, allowing 30 minutes. Notably, there is no negative marking for the GK section, and the essay will be evaluated during the PI shortlisting process.
Each section of XAT 2024 will contain 22-27 questions in multiple-choice format (excluding the essay writing section), with five options provided for each question. Candidates must answer the questions within the stipulated sectional time limit. PwD candidates will receive an additional 20 minutes for each part of the exam.
While XAT shares similarities with other MBA entrance exams due to its MCQ format, its unique elements make it challenging. However, candidates can achieve high scores with a comprehensive understanding of the XAT pattern and adeptness in navigating the test format. Explore more about the XAT pattern 2024 below.
