Scheduled for January 7, 2024, the updated exam format now comprises five sections, deviating from the previous four-section format. The revised XAT syllabus encompasses 101 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) alongside one descriptive question on Essay Writing, offering three options. Verbal & Logical Ability Highlights
- This section has no time limit, so you can spend a maximum of 50 minutes solving this section.
- A total of 26 questions are asked in this section.
- Some of the important topics in verbal ability are from English vocabulary, such as filling in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, correction of sentences, use of right words, etc.
- The reading comprehension section covers 50% of the VALR section. The topic in this section is economics. Politics, social awareness, literature, or abstract.
