KPSC Recruitment 2021

What is KPSC 2021? KPSC is an abbreviation for Karnataka Public Service Commission and is a state-level government exam that is conducted every year to recruit several Group A and Group B posts through the GPE (Gazetted Probationers Exam). Any candidate who wishes to serve the country through the Karnataka Administrative Services must give this exam as it is the gateway to the same. Candidates who excel in this exam can also be promoted to IAS levels. KPSC Exam Dates 2021

The candidates who wish to apply for KPSC 2021 must be very well aware of the tentative dates of KPSC. Knowing the dates beforehand gives the candidate enough time to plan the schedule and prepare for the exam accordingly.

KPSC Eligibility Criteria

Before registering for the KPSC 2021, the candidate must be aware of the eligibility criteria for the same.

  1. Age Limit: The minimum age required for KPSC is 21, and the maximum age is 35.
  2. The number of attempts: A candidate can attempt KPSC for a maximum of 5 times (general category. ) OBC candidates can attempt the exam 7 times, and SC/ST categories can attempt the exam as many time as they want (as long as they fall in the age limit)
  3. Qualification: The candidate must hold any (bachelor’s or master’s) degree from a recognized university.

The KPSC 2020 fee can be paid both online and offline. The fee varies for various categories. The fee division is as given below:

Exam Pattern for KPSC 2021

The KPSC is divided into two papers, and each of them consists of 100 marks in prelims. Each question consists of two marks, and ¼ marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. The General Mental Ability questions will be of 10th standard level.
