CAT (Common Admission Test)
The first and most popular management entrance exam in India is CAT, also known as Common Admission Test. It is a national-level management entrance test and is organized by different IIMs annually on a rotational basis. CAT is conducted to provide admission into the 19 Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) and other B-schools situated all over the country.
MAT (Management Aptitude Test )
After the CAT Exam, MAT is another important and second-best choice for candidates who want admission into management schools. The All India Management Association (AIMA) organizes the MAT examination annually and is a paper-based and computer-based examination. This examination is conducted to get admissions into 400 MBA/PGDM colleges that accept MAT scores. It is conducted four times a year February, May, September, and December. XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test)
XAT or Xavier Aptitude Test is another most important MBA entrance exam. It is a nationa-level exam with the aim to provide admissions to XLRI, XIMB, TAPMI, IMT, and 150+ MBA colleges in India. More than 100,000 candidates appear for XAT every year. XAT is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur and is thus also known as XLRI-XAT.
CMAT (Common Management Admission Test)
CMAT or Common Management Admission Test is a government-organized online national level entrance exam to get admission into 1000 AICTE approved management programs like MBA and PGDM across India. Till 2018, CMAT was conducted by AICTE, now National Testing Authority or NTA conducts the exam.
CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/ Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges like JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya Mumbai, Welingkar Mumbai, PUMBA Pune, Great Lakes Chennai, BIMTECH Greater Noida among others.
GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test)
The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is the national-level management entrance exam conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). CUSAT

NMAT (Narsee Monjee Management Aptitude Test)

ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test (IBSAT) is organized by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Hyderabad. ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education is the conducting authority. It is also known as ICFAI Aptitude Test.
It is conducted to provide admission in various management programmes which is offered by ICFAI Universit and across all India’s ICFAI Business School.
ATMA
ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions) is a national-level entrance exam which is conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). ATMA exam score are accepted by 200+ MBA/PGDM colleges in India. It is one of the best exams to get admissions to various Post-Graduate Management Programs like MBA, PGDM, MCA, MMS and other management post-graduate courses.
It is conducted via paper and computer-based mode and is conducted four times a year.
IIFT
The national level entrance test i.e. IIFT is conducted by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT). It is one of the trendings institution across India for providing admission into the MBA (International Business) program which is offered by the Kolkata & New Delhi campus. Pondicherry University
Pondicherry University (established by the Government of India in the year 1985) provide admission into the MBA program in the university on the basis of the CAT Score Card. The university organized group discussions and personal interviews for those students who cleared CAT Exam.
PESSAT
The University level entrance exam PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT) is organized by the PES University. It is organized to give admission to various undergraduate & postgraduate programs of the university. The exam is conducted via online mode.
BVP CET
Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University organized its own entrance examination i.e. BVP CET B-MAT 2025 to provide admission to the students in the MBA program. It is conducted via offline mode (pen-paper-based). The registration process will be available in online mode.
SAAT
Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University also provides admission in their own colleges in various PG and other courses in the field of management i.e. MBA courses on the basis of the CAT examination. The application will be applied via online mode only.
MU OET | Manipal University Online Entrance Test
Manipal University (which is located in Manipal, Karnataka) conducts its own entrance test that is known as Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU OET) is organized by the Manipal University to provide admission into their own campuses in MBA programs in the various specialization. KIITEE | Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Exam (KIITEE)

LPU NEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test)

PTU Exam
Punjab Technical University (PTU) does not organize any entrance exam. It provides admission into the MBA program on the basis of the CMAT examination. If in case any seats will be vacant after filling through the CMAT score then the remaining seats will be offered bn the basis of inter-se-merit of the qualifying examination.
MICAT
MICA Admissions Test (MICAT) is conducted by the MICA (Mudra Institute of Communication) which is the main conducting authority behind MICAT. It provides admission into the PGDM-C course. Candidates who qualify for at least one of the national level entrance examination i.e CAT/MAT/GMAT.
VMOU Admission

AIMA UGAT

MAH CET

AP ICET

TS ICET
Kakatiya University, Warangal organized a state-level entrance exam i.e. Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad. TANCET (Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test)
Anna University organized a state-level exam in Tamilnadu which is known as Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET). The state-level exam is conducted to provide admission to the students in the MBA, MCA, and M.E/M. Tech programs are offered in the Tamil Nadu States Government Institutions. UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination)
UPTU entrance exam is popularly known as UPSEE examination. It is conducted by the Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh to provide admission in the first year of B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharm, BFA, MBA, MCA, BHMCT, BFAD, MAM, etc. This exam is organized via online mode i.e. Computer Based Only.
KMAT Kerala (Kerala Management Admission Test)
