National-Level Medical Entrance Exam
1. NEET 2024 (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test)
National Testing Agency conducts NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) exam annually. It is a national-level medical entrance exam conducted to provide admission to the students into MBBS and BDS courses.
NEET is organized in offline mode, i.e., pen and paper-based mode. It provides candidates with admission into top institutions and universities all over India. NEET 2024 official notification is yet to be released by the NTA. However, the tentative NEET exam date 2024 is July 2024.
2. NEET PG 2024 (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test – Post Graduate)
NEET-PG is the most popular medical exam for students to get admission in medical courses like MD/MS and other PG Diploma courses. This exam is held annually by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
The NEET PG score is considered in post-MBBS DNB courses and is conducted online. The NEET PG exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 2024, and the results will be declared on June, 2024. After the NEET PG exam, admissions will be granted to 50% All India Quota (AIQ) and 50% seats for state quota, deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS, and private colleges.
3. AIIMS 2024 (All India Institute of Medical Sciences)
AIIMS-MBBS is a national-level exam conducted by AIIMS Delhi. It is conducted to test the candidates who want to pursue MBBS. Since MBBS is the toughest course, the conducting body offers only 50 seats only. The exam is held at both UG and PG levels.
The major syllabus in AIIMS MBBS is Chemistry, Biology, Physics, General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning. Those who successfully cleared the AIIMS examination will be admitted to the IIMS Institutions in New Delhi, Bhopal, Rishikesh, Patna, Jodhpur, Guntur, Nagpur, and Raipur & Bhubaneshwar.
4. AIIMS PG 2024 (All India Institute of Medical Sciences – Post Graduate)
AIIMS New Delhi conducts this national-level postgraduate examination. AIIMS PG is conducted to provide admission into the MD/MS/MDS/DM/M.CH. AIIMS institutions offer these courses, i.e., New Delhi, Bhopal, Rishikesh, Patna, Jodhpur, Guntur, Nagpur, Raipur & Bhubaneshwar. AIIMS PG is conducted twice a year.
The registration for AIIMS-PG started on January, 2024 and will end on March, 2024. The examination will be held on May, 2024.
5. JIPMER 2024 (Jawaharlal Institute Postgraduate Medical Education & Research)
Jawaharlal Institute Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) also conducts a medical entrance examination to provide admission to the MBBS program. Those who successfully clear the JIPMER examination will get admission to Karaikal & Puducherry campuses. JIPMER 2024 will be conducted in the 1st week of June 2024.
6. JIPMER PG 2024 (Jawaharlal Institute Postgraduate Medical Education & Research – Post Graduation)
JIPMER PG is as well regulated by the Jawaharlal Institute Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) to provide admission in post-graduation programs i.e., MD (Doctor of Medicine) and MS (Master of Surgery) in a wide range of specializations. It is conducted twice a year. JIPMER PG will be conducted on May, 2024 and will be conducted online.
This exam is for candidates who want admission into various 3-year PG medical courses. Candidates who want to get into 6 years PG Program, then the candidates need to clear the INI CET 2024 exam.
7. DNB CET 2024 (Diplomate of National Board Centralized Entrance Test)
National Board of Examination regulated one another national level medical entrance exams, i.e., Diplomate of National Board Centralized Entrance Test – Super Specialty (DNB CET-SS). NBE regulated this exam every year in two sessions (January and July sessions).
The registration for the January session started in November 2024, and the registration for the July session will start in March 2024. It is conducted to provide admission into the admissions in DM/MCh and DNB 3-year Super Specialty courses.
University Level Medical Entrance Exam 2024
1. AMU MBBS 2024 (Aligarh Muslim University MBBS)
AMU will be one of the popular university-level examinations conducted by Aligarh Muslim University. It is located in the middle of Doab, Aligarh. This university does not conduct any entrance exam for providing admission in BDS and MBBS courses.
AMU offers a half-year MBBS program with a 1-year compulsory rotatory internship. Candidates who want admission into this college must appear for the NEET UG exam. The 1st stage of the AMU exam will be held on April 2024, and the second stage exam will be held on May, 2024.
2. IPU CET MBBS 2024
IP University also provides admission in the MBBS program based on the NEET results 2024The online mode follows the complete admission process mode. Candidates who want to admission to Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University can take admission to this university.
3. DU MBBS Admission 2024
The most sorted and every student dream university in India i.e. Delhi Univesity also provides admission into the UG and PG courses in the field of medicine on the basis of NEET. The registration for admission into Delhi University registration will start from May 2024.
4. CENTAC 2024 (Central Admission Committee)
In Puducherry and other states/UT’s, Central Admission Committee is the main authority and is responsible for providing admission in the medical colleges that offers UG programs in the field of medical sciences. Central Admission Committee provides admission on the basis of NEET scores. The Application Form will be available in the 3rd week of May 2024
5. CMC Vellore 2024
CMC Vellore is popularly known as Christian Medical College which is an educational college for the Christian minority. This college provides admissions to the students in various UG, PG courses, Diploma & other courses in the medical field. For applying for this college the authority provides application form online mode only. For admission in the MBBS program is done on the basis of the NEET Scorecard which is followed by an aptitude test set by CMC.
6. BVP CET 2024
One of the oldest universities in India as well providing admission in their own colleges for medical fields on the basis of NEET Scorecard. Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University also does not evaluate any medical entrance exam. Candidates who clear NEET Exam with good marks can get admission to MBBS and BDS courses offered by the Bharti Vidyapeeth. The counseling process and admission process will be organized by the MCC (Medical Common Counselling).
7. SAAT MBBS 2024
Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University also provides admission in their own colleges in various UG, PG, and other courses in the field of medical i.e. MBBS & BDS courses on the basis of NEET examination/NEET Scorecard. Application for this college is available on their own website via Online Mode.
8. MU OET 2024
There is no entrance exam is conducted by Manipal University. They offer admission into the various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of medical, dental, etc. Admissions into both UG and PG courses are provided on the basis of the NEET UG scorecard. The application form is available via online mode only.
9. KIITEE 2024 (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology)
KIT is provide admission in the PG Medical, PG Dental, MBBS & BDS Courses on the basis of the NEET-UG/PG exam. The college is popularly known as the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. Candidates who clear the NEET UG/PG Exam can also take admission to this college on the basis of the NEET Score. The application form for KIITEE Exam will be available via only online mode.

AFMC university provides admission into the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) for the MBBS courses ON the basis of NEET Exam. Candidates who qualify for NEET Exam with good scores can directly apply to this college.
11. PGIMER 2024 (Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research)
PGIMER 2024 is conducted by the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER). The university-level examination is conducted to provide admissions into MD, MS, DM, MDS, and other PG medical courses. It is regulated every year in two sessions, i.e. January and July sessions.
