NIACL Syllabus 2022

NIACL Exam consists of three phases:

  • In Phase I, there are three sections namely; Maths, Reasoning, and English.
  • Phase II consists of Five Sections i.e Maths, Reasoning, English, GA, and Computer.
  • Phase III consists of the Regional Language Test.

NIACL Syllabus for Phase I

Numerical Ability / Quantitative Aptitude: Simplification & Approximation, Number Series Data Interpretation (Pie, Tabular, Line, Missing etc), Inequality, Problem on Ages, Simple and Compound Interest, Time, Speed and Distance, Probability,  Boats & Streams, Ratio and Proportion, Profit & Loss, Averages, Time & Work, Mixture and Allegations, Pipes and Cisterns.

Reasoning Ability: Coding-Decoding, Puzzles/ Seating Arrangement (Circular, Square, Floor, Linear etc.), Syllogism, Direction, Blood Relations, Coding-Decoding, Input-Output, Order and Ranking, Alphanumeric Series, Data Sufficiency, Logical Reasoning.

English Language: Sentence Improvement, Para Jumbles, Cloze Test, Spotting Errors, Reading Comprehension, Single / Double Fillers, Para/ Sentence Completion, etc.

NIACL Exam Pattern 2022

There are 2 phases in this exam:

  • Preliminary Exam: Phase I is an objective type Multiple Choice exam. The questions consist of three sections namely; Math, English, and Reasoning.
  • Mains Exam: Phase II is an objective type Multiple Choice exam. The questions consist of five sections Math, English, GA, Computer, and Reasoning.
