NMAT exam 2022 is expected to be held for over 75 days from the 2nd week of October 2022 to the last week of December 2022. GMAC holds this exam to provide admission to MBA courses offered at NMIMS and other colleges that accept NMAT scores.

NMAT Exam Overview
- To appear for the exam, you must have cleared your bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% from a recognized college.
- There is no upper age limit to appear for the NMIMS entrance exam. Foreign nationals can also apply based on their GMAT scores.
- A candidate can appear for the exam 3 times in a given year (including 2 retakes).
- You can schedule the date, time, and venue of the exam according to your convenience during the scheduling process.
- The question paper includes 108 questions divided into 3 sections- Language Skills, Logical Reasoning, and Quant. These questions need to be answered in 120 minutes.
- According to the marking scheme, 1 mark is awarded for every correct answer. Moreover, there is no negative marking for wrong answers.
- Based on previous year cut offs, Cut off are above 95% for NMIMS Mumbai and 91% for NMIMS Hyderabad & Bengaluru campuses. However, the cut off varies from 90%-95% for other top colleges like XIMB, VIT Vellore, SRM University, etc.
- Around 40+ B-schools in India and 25 colleges in the Philippines, Nigeria, Morocco, and South Africa accept NMAT scores. Candidates can choose up to 5 colleges for admission while filling the application form.
What is NMAT by GMAC exam?
NMAT is a national-level exam conducted by GMAC to provide admission to various MBA/ PGDM courses offered by NMIMS and other top NMAT scores accepting colleges. Until 2015, this exam was conducted by NMIMS. Now GMAC, or Graduate Management Aptitude Council, conducts the NMAT exam.

NMAT Eligibility Criteria 2022
To apply for the exam, you need to fulfill the NMAT Eligibility Criteria laid down by GMAC.
- Indian citizens can apply for this exam. However, NRIs can get admission if they have scored 600+ in the GMAT exam.
- Candidates must have cleared a 3 or 4 years Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% in any discipline from a recognized university.
- There is no upper age limit to appear for this exam.
- No prior work experience is required to fill application form.
- Candidates in the final year of graduation can also apply for the exam. However, they must submit their final mark sheet and provisional certificate while getting admission.
- There is no limit on how many years a student can take the exam. However, candidates can appear a maximum of 3 times (including 2 retakes) in one year.

The NMAT application form will be released on the official NMAT registration website in the first week of August 2022.
Steps To Fill NMAT Registration Form 2022
To fill out the application form correctly, you need to know the complete registration process. Here is a step-by-step guide to fill the NMAT application form:
- Visit the official registration website and create a user account by entering details including name, email address, and valid mobile number.
- Log in with the credentials generated in the first step to fill the application form. Here you need to enter personal, academic, and work experience details, choice of courses to send scores, and the ID proof details. Agree to the terms and conditions.
- Choose the colleges/ b-schools to which you want to send your scores. You can choose any number of colleges from the list. However, you need to pay a fee of INR 300 for every additional college after the first 5 choices.
- Upload a scanned image of your recent passport size photograph.
- Pay the application fee via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, VISA Card, Diners Club, UPI, or Mobile Wallets.
- Once you have paid the fees successfully, click on the ‘Book Exam’ tab to schedule your exam by choosing the exam mode, test centre, and date & time of the exam.
- Select the exam mode of your choice (test centre or home-based remote proctored). The option to schedule the exam at test centres will be available only to Indian residents.
- Upload your government ID for photo verification. Capture a photo of your ID from your mobile or webcam and save it on your computer. Upload this image to the Examity Scheduling System.
- Select up to 3 security questions from the drop-down list. Remember your answers to the security questions, as 1 of these questions will be asked during the authentication process.
- Then you need to choose the correct date and time zone to book your exam slot. Candidates in India should choose the time zone- UTC+05:30.
- Enter your full name and re-enter your first name and last name. Ensure you enter your details correctly, as this will be used for authentication on the exam day.

NMAT Admit Card 2022 will be released within 24 hours after completing registration and exam schedule on the official website. Here are a few key points on the NMAT hall ticket:
- The GMAC authorities will send the NMAT admit card download link to your registered email address.
- You can download your hall ticket by entering your registration number and password.
