Applicants should follow the minimum eligibility criteria for the exam. The eligibility criteria for Primary Teachers (Class 1st – 5th) are below.
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and a Two-Year Diploma in D.EL.Ed/ BTC.

- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 45% marks and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.Ed/ BTC).

- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and four years Preliminary Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.ED).

UTET Exam Pattern 2024
UTET Exam Pattern consists of two papers, Paper I and Paper II. The exam papers will consist of Multiple Choice Questions. The exam will be held offline, and for each question’s answer, candidates will get one mark. The examination has no negative marks, and candidates must answer 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQ). The duration of the exam is 2 Hr 30 minutes.
