HTET Recruitment 2018-19: Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test, Notification, Exam Dates


HTET Recruitment Official Notification has been released by the Board of School Education Haryana on 19th November 2018. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can fill the HTET Application Form. The application form is available now from 19th November 2018 and till available 30th November 2018. Candidates can fill HTET application form via the official website i.e. The last date of HTET Application form submission or application fee submission is 30th November 2018. The authority(HBEH) will conduct HTET Examination on 5th and 6th January 2019. Once the authority will conduct HTET Examination successfully(Level I, Level II and Level III), the result will be declared. As per the last year survey, it will find that more than 6 lac candidates appear in the HTET Examination and more than 7+ lac candidates applied for the HTET Examination. What is HTET? HTET Recruitment:

To ensure that people recruited as teachers possess the essential aptitude and ability to meet the challenges of teaching at the Elementary, Secondary and Secondary levels, one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for an appointment as a teacher in either of schools recognised by the School Education Department, Haryana and affiliated by the School Board of Education, Haryana is that he/she must pass the “Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test”.

  • HTET Level I: It is for those who want to teach class Ist to IV(Primary Level(PRT)).
  • HTET Level II: It is for those who want to teach class VI to VIII(Trained Graduate Teacher(TGT)).
  • HTET Level III: It is for those who want to teach as lecturer (Post Graduate Teacher(PGT)).

HTET Application Form 2018-19

Candidates can fill HTET application form via the official website. Candidates need to enter the valid details while filling the HTET Application Form. Once candidates completed the application form or submitted the application form then they need to review it once again for final submission. Once it will be submitted then candidates can edit only some particulars which are given into the official notification. Candidates need to follow the following steps for filling up the application form:

HTET Eligibility Criteria 2018-19

Those who are willing to fill HTET Application they must need to go through with the HTET Eligibility Criteria. Those who fulfil the eligibility criteria they can proceed further or can fill the form. Those who are not satisfying the criteria, they cannot fill the application form.   • Nationality: Indian
  • Age Limit: There are no prescribed age limit criteria
  • Minimum Educational qualification:
    • For PRT – Candidates must be passed 12th or Graduation
    • For TGT – Candidates must have passed their Graduation
    • For PGT – Candidates must have Post-Graduation

HTET Admit Card 2018

As the authority will release HTET admit card on 20th December 2018. Only those candidates will able to download their admit card who have successfully registered or who have successfully submitted their application fee. The authority made it available via online mode only which is available on the official website of the HTET examination. Candidates can download it by entering their roll number or DOB which is also required as a Login. The authority also will not responsible for sending the admit card via offline mode. Candidates can not attempt the examination if they enter in the examination without the admit card.

Only those candidates will be permissible for giving HTET examination who have HTET Admit Card. HTET Admit Card contains Exam Centre details, Roll Number of the candidates, Details about Candidates, Timing of the Exam, Scanned Photograph, etc. Once candidates download it they need to check it with their original document, if any candidates finds any discrepancy then they should contact with the conducting authority, For correcting the details. In case candidates will not receive their admit card then they also need to contact for the same purpose. Such candidates need to send their successfully submitted application number, along with the payment receipt an attested copy of qualifying Secondary class (ClassX), two photographs. The photograph should like that one you have uploaded while filling application form.

HTET Result 2018-19

HSEB (Haryana School of Education Board) will release HTET result after the successful conduction of the examination in the official website link is given above. Candidates can check their scorecard/ result by entering their roll number and DOB or Name. The result itself contains the marks obtained by the candidates in the HTET Examination. Once the result will be declared by the authority, the authority also preserved candidates OMR or Answer for a month period of time only. HTET Cutoff 2018-19

Cut off is the minimum qualifying marks to secure a position or be in the qualifying candidate’s list which is popularly known as cut off marks. The authority will release after HTET cut off marks along with the HTET Result. The cut off remains the same for all three categories for which authority is organizing the HTET Examination. Those who secure minimum cut off marks will be taken as qualified candidates else they are rejected or take as disqualified candidates. Issuance of HTET Certificates

Candidates who cleared or who qualify in the HTET Examination, the authority (The Board of School Education, Haryana) will be announced or release a certification of eligibility for a 5 years period of time from the date of issuance. This certificates will be released by the authority after one month of the result declaration. Candidates can attempt it again if they find and feels that they can score more marks or they need improvement in this examination.
