What is CTET?
CTET is a national-level examination and is conducted by CBSE every year.
This exam gives the opportunity to all the candidates to join Central Government Schools. All eligible candidates may apply from the official website. The paper is held in two parts; paper 1 and paper 2. The CTET Paper 1 is for candidates who wish to teach students of classes 1-5 and Paper 2 is for those who wish to teach classes 6-8. Moreover, candidates who wish to teach all the classes from 1-8 need to appear in both exams.

CTET Application Form
Candidates can visit the official website of CTET. The CTET application form can be filled out only in online mode. In the previous years, the examination was held in pen and paper mode, but CBSE changed its pattern last year. Now, the exam is conducted online.

CTET Application Form: Highlights
- Candidates can pay the application fee in the online mode only.
- There is an option to pay the CTET Application Fee through a Credit/Debit Card or by internet banking.
- The application fee is non-refundable.
CTET Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are appearing in the exam must fulfill the CTET eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria are different for classes 1st to 5th and for 5th to 8th. We have tabulated the information below, take a look:

CTET Exam Pattern
CTET Exam Pattern includes the number of questions, types of questions, marking scheme, and more. The exam will be conducted in 2 phases:
- Paper-I
- Paper-II
Paper-I is conducted for those candidates who appear to become a teacher from class 1st to class 5th, and Paper-II is conducted for candidates who wish to teach students from class 5th to class 8th. Candidates can also apply for both papers.
Both papers are conducted in the MCQ(Multiple Choice) type. Candidates must secure a minimum of 60% to qualify for the exam.

CTET Admit Card
CTET Admit Card will be released before 10 to 15 days of the examination. The authority will release the admit card on the official website. Candidates can download it only in the online mode. Both admit cards for Paper-I and for Paper-II will be released separately.

CTET Result
