As there are a lot of institutes opening in India on a daily basis so there is a lot of opening in the teaching profession. To become a government teacher candidates must have the basic qualification which is required to become a government teacher according to their aim whom they want to teach i.e. Primary Level, Elementary Level, and for Inter College level. Candidates must have passed their Senior Secondary,/Graduation and Post Graduation as per required. For post-graduation candidates need to complete as well NTT/BTC and B.ed. Recruitment process becoming a government teacher in school

Currently, CBSE organized Central Teacher eligibility test for providing the certification to become participants in the teacher training courses. Central level Examination is conducted to provide a selection in the central level or in central school whereas state-level teacher eligibility test is organized to give selection in the state-level school which is organized by the state selection board like in Uttarakhand  UBSE organized and in Uttar Pradesh UP BSE organized State-level test.

Become a successful teacher candidate need to further go through with the interview process which is organized by the organizing authority, the final selection will be based on the complete process or final appointed as a government teacher.

CTET is conducted completely multiple choice question in nature. There are two papers in the CTET Examination i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper is organized for those who want to teach class 1st to 5th students and Paper 2 is organized for those want to teach class 6th to 8th standard. Aspirants who wish to teach class 1st to 8th they need to appear in both the examination. They can apply for both the papers.

Candidates must need to secure minimum 60% marks in the CTET Examination getting certificates of teaching. Similarly, the complete process is organized by the state-level authority recruiting for government teacher in schools funded, aided by the state government.

Eligibility Criteria for CTET/TET:

Candidates must have passing/appearing certificates with minimum 50 % marks in 2-year diploma in elementary education/4 year bachelor degree in elementary education/2 year diploma in elementary education from a recognized university under the NCTE Norms, Candidates who graduated or having the diploma in elementary education can also apply.

Minimum Qualification for CTET VI-VIII

Graduation with minimum 45 % marks along with appearing in the first year bachelor in elementary education/ senior secondary with 50 marks and passed or appearing in the B.Ed/B.Sc ed/B.A..Ed
