SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria 2023: Age Limit, Qualifications, Nationality

The SRM Institute of Science and Technology released the SRMJEEE eligibility criteria 2023 with the official notification on the official website. Candidates need to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. Those who fail to meet any of the given eligibility criteria will not be eligible for final admission.

SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria 2024

Here is the eligibility criteria of SRMJEEE 2024. The eligibility criteria explain the conditions that candidates need to fulfill to appear for the exam.

SRMJEEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria – General

  • Indian citizens can only apply and appear for SRMJEEE 2023. NRIs, PIO, or OCI cardholders can also apply and appear for SRMJEEE 2023. SRMIST also provides an option for the International student category.
  • The candidate should have attended the age of 16 on or before  July 2023.
  • Candidates appearing for the 10+2 examination in 2023 can also apply for the exam.

Academic Qualification

Academics Eligibility Required
For all B.Tech Programmes (except Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering and Genetic Engineering)
  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination at least 50%. Moreover, your main subject in school should be Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Note: The minimum percentage mark in the 10+2 exam for SRM AP is 60%.

B.Tech Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, and Genetic Engineering
  • The candidates should have completed 10+2 or equivalent examinations with the minimum percentage in aggregate.
  • Moreover, your main subject in school should be Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology/Botany & Zoology/Biotechnology.
Others
  • Candidates who have completed 12th from NIOS can also apply. 

Note: If they have completed their 10th, then they cannot apply for SRMJEEE 2023.

Candidates who have passed International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or A-level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology / Biotechnology as main subjects from any international school will also be eligible.

SRMJEEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria- Campus-wise

The minimum aggregate pass percentage required to get admissions to SRM is different for each campus. Here are the campus-wise aggregate marks from the table given below.

SRMJEEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria for Direct Admissions

SRMIST also provides direct admission to the candidates if they meet hte following SRMJEEE eligibility criteria 2023: 

  • Candidates who are one of the top 100 students in JEE Mains or JEE Advanced 2023 can apply for admissions in SRM.
  • Top rankers in each district of Tamil Nadu.
  • First rank holder in Central of State Board.
  • Exemplary sportsperson at the International/National level.
