TANCET Eligibility Criteria 2024: Age, Qualification, & Marks

The TANCET Eligibility Criteria is the set of requirements that is devised by the conducting authority which must be met by the candidates in order to be eligible to apply for the examination. TANCET Eligibility Criteria

The complete course-wise eligibility criteria for TANCET 2022 is given below:

Courses Eligibility
M.Tech/ME/M.Arch/M.Plan Qualifying Exam: Pass Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any disciplines.
Minimum Marks: Secure minimum 50% marks (45% for the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories).
MBA Qualifying Exam: Pass Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years.
Minimum Marks: Qualified with 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates)
MCA Qualifying Exam: Pass Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years with mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level.
Minimum Marks: Secured at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category candidates)
MCA (Lateral Entry) Qualifying Exam: Pass Bachelor’s degree in B.Sc (Computer Science/Information Technology), BCA with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level.
Minimum Marks: Secure at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST).
  • Candidates who have completed/in their final year of graduation can apply.
  • Candidates who have passed 10+2 or possess a 10+3 years diploma certificate from the State Board of Technical Education are eligible.
  • Candidates who have a valid GATE score with qualifying marks in Engineering Science (XE) and Life Science (XL), they have to appear for TANCET exam also.
  • Candidates who have passed 10+2 or possess a 10+3 years diploma certificate from the State Board of Technical Education are eligible.
  • There is no age limit to apply for TANCET.
  • The candidates who have qualified the GATE can directly sit in the counselling process.

Candidates must have acquired the minimum eligible marks category-wise to be a part of the counselling procedure:
