UPSEE Eligibility Criteria 2024: Check Eligibility Criteria For all Courses

The AKTU will provide UPSEE Eligibility Criteria. Every year, it conducts the UPSEE Examination for admission to the UG and PG courses. UPSEE is a state-level Entrance examination. This exam will be held in June 2024 in offline mode. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website. In addition, every candidate must check their eligibility for the exam before preparing for it.

UPSEE Eligibility Criteria 2024

Before applying for the UPSEE Application form, candidates must fulfill the UPSEE Eligibility Criteria. Here is a detailed look at the same:

  • Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of  India/ NRI/ FN/PIO.
  • Age Limit: There is no age limit for the examination.
  • Domicile: The candidate must be a domicile of UP.

Qualification Details

For B-Tech

Compulsory Subjects: Physics & Mathematics.

Optional Subject: Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology / Technical Vocational subject.

Qualifying Marks: The candidate must qualify the minimum 45% marks for General Category and 40% marks for SC/ST and other categories.

For B-Tech (Bio-Technology)

Compulsory Subjects: Physics & Mathematics or Biology.

Optional Subject: Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Technical Vocational subject.

Qualifying Marks: Candidates must qualify the minimum 45 % marks for General Category and 40% marks for SC/ST and other categories.

Candidates eligible for B-tech admission also qualify for the B-Tech (Bio-Technology).

For B-Arch

Compulsory Subjects: Physics & Mathematics.

Optional Subject: Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology/Engineering Drawing/Technical Vocational subject.

Qualifying Marks: Candidates must pass the examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

For B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering)

Compulsory Subjects: Agriculture

Qualifying Marks: Candidates must qualify the minimum 45 % marks for General Category and 40% marks for SC/ST and other categories.

For B.Pharm

Compulsory Subjects: Physics & Chemistry.

Optional Subject: Mathematics/Biology/Bio-Technology/Technical Vocational .

Qualifying Marks: Candidates must qualify the minimum 45 % marks for General Category and 40% marks for SC/ST and other categories.

For BHMCT/BFAD/BFA

Qualifying Marks: Candidates must qualify the minimum 45 % marks for General Category and 40% marks for SC/ST and other categories.

Note: Candidates must pass the 12th or equivalent examination from the UP board or any recognized university.

Eligibility Criteria for Management Courses

For MBA

Qualifying Marks:  Candidates must qualify the minimum 45 % marks for General Category and 40% marks for SC/ST and other categories.

Exams: Candidates must have the three years bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from the recognized university or board.

For MCA

Qualifying Marks:  Candidates must qualify the minimum 45 % marks for General Category and 40% marks for SC/ST and other categories.

Exams: Candidates must have the three years bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from the recognized university or board.

Compulsory Subject: Candidate must have Mathematics in the 12th Class.

Eligibility Criteria for Lateral Entry

For B-tech (LE)

Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have a minimum of 45 % marks for the General Category and 40% for SC/ST and other categories.

Exams: Candidate must have a diploma or BSc in mathematics in class 12th.

For B-Pharm (LE)

Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have a minimum of 45 % marks for the General Category and 40% for SC/ST and other categories.

Exams: Candidates must complete 2 or 3 Years of Diplomas in Pharmacy.

For MCA (LE)

Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have a minimum of 45 % marks for the General Category and 40% for SC/ST and other categories.

Exams: Candidates must have three years of degree in BCA or B.Sc IT.
