UPTET Preparation Tips 2024
UPTET Exam is conducted in two parts; Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is organized for those candidates who are willing to teach class 1st to 5th and Paper 2 is organized for those who are willing to teach class 6th to 8th. Before beginning the preparation for UPTET Examination, every candidate must go through the UPTET Exam Pattern. By understanding the pattern of the exam, candidates get to know some important information like difficulty level in the previous year, the number of questions asked in the question papers, negative marking, etc.
Complete preparation strategy for UPTET-2024
- Make a study plan first. Jot down your weak as well as strong areas and devote time accordingly. Make realistic targets and stick to them. Do not overburden yourself.
- Candidates must go through with UPTET Syllabus, do mapping, and create a sheet-like to answer the below-mentioned questions:
- What are the topics where you are week?
- What are the topics where you are average?
- What are the topics where you are strong?

- Time management plays a crucial role in any competitive examination. So focus on increasing your speed and accuracy. This will give you an edge over other aspirants.
- Try to go through with the best study material like credible books and Previous Year Question Papers. As there are many resources available in the market, you need to figure out the books so you can easily crack UPTET Exam and score high. Don’t hoard plenty of books, as it creates unnecessary pressure. Instead, keep a few reliable books.
- Whenever you start your preparation, try to make your own notes as they are beneficial in quick revision. In NCERT books, at the end of each chapter, a summary window appears which helps you while revision. Do the same with your own notes.
- You need to be consistent and practice regularly. As there are high chances of repetition of previous year’s questions in the upcoming exams, do not skip to practice those questions.
- Do not try to study new topics or chapters in the last moments. Doing this can create a lot of confusion. It may hamper your well-revised topics as well.
- Try to solve previous year’s question papers, they are really helpful. In addition, they give you an idea about the exam pattern previously asked.
