IES/ESE Prelims result has been declared on 20 February. IES Prelims Examination was held on 5 January 2020 in the offline mode. The result of the Prelims Examination was released on 20 February 2020 by the conducting authority of the examination. The authority has released the result on the official website of the UPSC which is the conducting body of IES 2020 and the result will be displayed in the online mode only and there will be no other mode to get the IES Result 2020. The cut off for the prelims is awaited and will be released soon by the authorities.

The Prelims Examination was held on 5 January 2020, and the result of the examination has been released. The examination was held in offline mode only. Only the candidates who qualify both prelims and mains will be eligible for the personal interview round. Only after cracking the PI will a candidate qualify for IES.

UPSC will release separate results for both prelims and mains examination. The candidates can follow the steps given below to check their result:

- Click on the examination tab.
- Click on the Written result link.
- The result will be displayed in the PDF format; the candidates can search their roll number.
