How to Apply?
Registration will be done in two parts i.e.

Steps to Fill Online Application Form 2022
- Visit the official website of UPSC to apply for the IES exam.
- Click on the apply online link for UPSC ESE Prelims Exam.
- Click on Part I of the application form.

Admit Card
Union Public Service Commission releases IES Admit Card for both mains and prelims. The admit card is available via only Online Mode. Candidates can download their Admit Card from the official website of UPSC. The candidates who have successfully registered for the exam will be able to download the admit card. Only the candidates who clear the prelims will be able to download the main exam admit card.

UPSC will declare the IES Prelims Exam Result soon on the official website. Candidates who have successfully cleared the IES Prelims examination will be qualified for the IES Mains Examination. Those who clear the prelims exam will attempt the main examination, and if cleared, they will go for the interview process. A final merit list of the selected candidates will be declared after the final result declaration.
Selection Process
The selection process is done through two stages:
- Written Stages
- Personal Stages
The written stage is followed by two steps, i.e. candidates who clear the prelims examination to go for the main examination. Candidates who will qualify for the main examination go for the Personal Interview process. Finally, the candidates who get selected in the Personal Interview will be notified in the final merit list. The appointment letter will be allocated to the candidates whose name is present on the merit list.
