Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE) is a state entrance exam for admission into various courses at graduate and postgraduate level. The exam is organized by Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) located in Dehradun. UKSEE preparation tips can help to achieve the good rank in UKSEE exam. How to prepare the UKSEE Exam

1.Study Plan

  • Create your own time table for UKSEE Exam and followed it properly.
  • Analyze the subject wise topics and collect the syllabus.
  • Collect information about the complete UKSEE Exam Syllabus and divide them equally as per your time so that every minor topic should get covered in your study plans.
  • Highlight the important topics and make short notes for yourself.
  • Gather the mock papers and previous question papers and solved it.

2.Time Management

  • Students must give equal weightage to all the subjects and prepare for them as per your prepared time-table.
  • Include short breaks of  15 minutes between long hours of study.
  • Maintaining a proper schedule for every task that you do can lead you to success.
  • Divide the time for all subjects.

3.Maintain Health

  • During preparation, never ignore your health, so maintain your health
  • Take fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Avoid junk food and heavy diet.
  • At the time of preparation do yoga and meditation, it will help you to calm your mind, increasing inner peace, confidence and power of concentration.
  • Never over stress yourself and try to get sleep for at least six to eight hours.
  • Give some time to your hobbies like watching TV, playing games, spending time with your friends etc.

5.Revision

  • Make sure you revise every topic thoroughly and prepare well every topic by revising time and again.
  • Prepare separate revision plan for last minute preparation.
  • At last revised all main topics.
UKSEE Result

UKSEE result 2018 will be announced in the fourth week of May 2018. UKSEE results can be available through online mode. It is a state level entrance exam . The written test will be conducted through offline mode. In result, candidates can check their marks scored, rank, qualifying status , roll number, category, sub-category etc. Candidates should secure the result for further processes. The answer key will be released along with the publication of results.

Candidates can access the result through online mode only. The university will not send the result to registered address by post.

How to check the result of UKSEE 2018

  • Go to the official website uksee.uktech.ac.in.
  • Click on “UKSEE 2018” link.
  • Enter your selected Course Given in Application Form for Download click on Submit Button.
  • The result will be show in your system screen.
  • Candidates can check the result through your roll no., name, father’s name, category, sub-category and rank.
  • Download the result and take the printout.

Evaluation of Result

The University will deliver the separate merit list for each course. The university will provide the merit position, scorecard with total marks, marks obtained in each subject and answer keys for the candidates. If two candidates will gain equal marks, then the university will prepare the inter-se-merit. Inter-se-merit will be determined as follows:

  •  A candidate giving the less number of incorrect answers will be placed at higher merit.
  • Candidate with higher age will be given preference.
  • The marks scored in the qualifying exam.

UKSEE Counselling 2018

The counselling will be organized on online mode. The counselling will be conducted from the first week of July 2018. For UKSEE counselling, candidates have to registered on the website. The seat will be displayed on the website for the counselling. If candidates attend the counselling then candidates have to deposit the counselling fee. In the counselling process, candidates have to fill the course choices according to the preferences.

UKSEE Admit Card

UKSEE Admit Card 2018 will be published by Uttarakhand Technical University. It will be available through online mode only. Admit card will not be sent to any candidate individually by post. It is a state level entrance exam through which candidates can get admission in first year BHMCT, B.Pharma MBA, MCA degree courses. Candidates can also apply for admission into second year of B.Tech, MBA, MCA and B.Pharma (Lateral Entry) courses.

How to download the admit card

  • Go to the official link uksee.uktech.ac.in and click on Login button.
  • A new page will be show on the screen.
  • Enter the “Registration No. /Application No.” & “Date of Birth” on the website.
  • Click on the “Submit” button.
  • The Admit Card will be displayed on the computer screen and then download the admit card.
  • Don’t forget to take the printout of the admit card for future use.

Instruction related to the admit card

  • To keep safe the admit card till admission in the university.
  • Candidates have to bring the admit card issued by the university along with one attested copy.
  • Mobile phones and calculators are strictly prohibited in the examination hall.
  • Without admit card and ID proof, no candidate will be allowed in the examination hall.
  • Candidates should reach their examination hall before one hour ago.
  • Carry any one of the valid photo IDs in original and non-expired such as PAN card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport or Aadhar Card.
  • If candidates will write anything elsewhere in the OMR answer sheet, then they will be disqualified from the test.
  • Candidate will not be permitted to leave the examination hall before the completion of written examination.

UKSEE Syllabus

UTU (Uttarakhand Technical University) will be responsible for designing UKSEE Syllabus 2018. UTU is the conducting authority of Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE). The common entrance examination is organised for admission ( first year degree courses as well as for admission to lateral entry degree courses. Through this test, candidates will get admission into first year B.Pharm, BHMCT, MCA programme and second year admission into B.Tech, B.Pharm and MCA is provided) in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses which are offered by the UTU Affiliated Campuses. UKSEE Syllabus 2018

The syllabus for the exam will be included subject/information areas as per the most recent directions issued by particular sheets with earlier endorsement of Government of India. UKSEE Syllabus will involves from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology subjects.

UKSEE Exam Pattern

UKSEE exam pattern 2018 gives detail about the scheme of the entrance examination that include marking scheme, number of questions & subjects asked in examination, exam timings, etc. It is the state level entrance exam that provides admission to first year MCA, B.Pharm, BHMCT and second year B.Tech, B.Pharm and MCA programmes. Paper 6- Aptitude test for Diploma Holders

  • UKSEE Exam paper is organized for the diploma holder candidates applying for UKSEE 2018 to take admission in engineering in 2nd year directly via lateral entry.
  • There will be total of 100 objective type questions.
  • Each question will carry 1 mark for the correct response
  • There is no negative marking for wrong answers..

Paper 7- Aptitude test for Diploma Holders in Pharmacy

  • UKSEE Exam paper is organized for the students having diploma and interested in taking admission in B.Pharma 2nd year via lateral entry.
  • There will be total of 100 questions
  • It consists maximum of 100 marks.
  • Each question carries 1 mark for each correct response.
  • There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Paper  8- Aptitude test for B.SC Graduates

  • UKSEE Exam paper conducts of 100 objective questions.
  • Each question will carry 1 mark for each correct answers.
  • There will be no negative marking for negative response.

Paper 9- MCA Lateral Entry

  • UKSEE Exam is basically organized for the students who are interested in taking admission in MCA via lateral entry.
  • This  exam section comprises of 100 questions for MCA lateral Entry .
  • Each question will carry 1 mark for correct response
  • There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
UKSEE Application form

UKSEE Application Form 2018 is available from 1st week of May 2018. The examination is conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) for providing admission to the first year B.Pharm, MCA, BHMCT programmes and second year MCA, B.Pharm, B.Tech programmes.  The application form is available via online mode only. The application process of UKSEE includes filling of candidate’s details, document uploading and fee payment.

  • For different courses, candidates are required to submit the separate form.

Application Fee

  • The application fee of UKSEE 2018 will be Rs. 1000/-  for the general category.
  • The application fee of UKSEE 2018 will be RS. 500/- for the SC/ST.
  • The application fee can be paid through online mode only  via net banking, debit card and credit card.

BHMCT (Hotel management) Qualifying Exam: should pass 12th exam.
Minimum marks: must obtain 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category) in the qualifying examination
MCA Qualifying Exam: Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years from recognized university.
Subject: Must have mathematics at 10+2 level or graduate level.
Minimum Marks: Must passed in qualifying exam with 505 marks (45% marks for reserved category)
MCA Lateral Entry(for Uttarakhand domicile and Academic domicile only) Qualifying Exam: recognized 3 years of Bachelor’s degree in BCA, B.sc (IT Computer Science)

How to apply for UKSEE Application Form

Step1: Online Registration

  • Go to the official link uksee.uktech.ac.in.
  • Click on the UKSEE 2018 and apply online Link.
  • Read the instruction carefully, before filling the application form.
  • Then, click on “Proceed for Registration”.
  • Enter all the registration details like mail ID and mobile number.

Step2: Login to Application Form

  • After the successfully registration, registration ID will be generated.
  • Note down the registration no. and then click on “LOGIN”.
  • During login use registered no and DOB
  • Fill the all personal details like as, Name , father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth,gender, mobile no., email id, course applying for, etc.
  • Fill your academic details & click on “save & continue” button.
  • Fill the all other details and then click on “Submitted  Button”.

Step3:Upload Signature and Photograph

  • Now, you have to upload your scanned photograph & signature .
  • Image size should be 35 x 45 mm covering 75% of face and signature size should be 20KB to 30 KB.
  • Proper check the filled details & click on “submit” button.

Step4:Fee Payment

  • Now, make payment through online mode according to your category.
  • After successful payment,  take the printout of filled-in application form.

Documents/Details Required:

  • Personal details like as Name, valid Mobile Number, valid Mail ID, etc.
  • Qualification details.
  • Fill the Proper address for communication.
  • Select the Examination centre.
  • Scanned image and signature. Image size should be 35 x 45 mm covering 75% of face and signature size should be 20KB to 30 KB.
  • Images should be in JPG format.

  • No correction opportunity will be provided after the final submission of application form.
  • Fill the application form carefully without committing any mistakes.

Uttarakhand Technical University organizes UKSEE(Uttarakhand State Entrance Exam) for admissions to first year of the following programmes offered by the University and other Departments and Government/Private Institutes located in the state. UKSEE Exam Dates 2018

UKSEE Application Form 2018

  • Students have to fill the application form and fee through online mode only.
  • Students eligible for their desired courses can submit the application form from 1st week of May to 3rd week of May, 2018.
  • Students who are likely to appear in more than one course, have to submit the separate application form for their respective courses.
  • Students will have to upload their recent passport size photographs (35mm×45mm) in the given space.
  • There is no provision to edit the details once the form will be submitted so fill the details carefully.
  • Students are advised to take a printout of the application form and keep it safely.

Application Fee

  • For General and OBC category- INR 1000/
  • For SC and ST students- INR500/
  • The application fee can be paid through online mode only  via net banking, debit card and credit card.
  • The application fee is non refundable.

How to apply?

  • Go to the official link
  • Click on the UKSEE 2018 and apply online Link.
  • Read the instruction carefully, before filling the application form.
  • Then, click on “Proceed for Registration”.
  • Click on “Apply for UKSEE 2018” button.
  • Fill the all personal details like as, Name , father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth,gender, mobile no., email id, course applying for, etc.
  • Now, click on submit button.
  • Note down the registration no. and then click on “LOGIN”.
  • During login use registered no and DOB
  • Fill the all other details and then click on “Submitted  Button”.
  • Fill your academic details & click on “save & continue” button.
  • Now, you have to upload your scanned photograph & signature & then click on “submit” button.
  • Proper check the filled details & click on “submit” button.
  • Now, make payment through online mode according to your category.
  • After successful payment,  take the printout of filled-in application form.

UKSEE Admit Card

  • The admit card will be available on 8 May so students can  downloaded from the website.
  • Admit card will be kept safe till the admission process is over.
  • Students have to bring the admit card issued by the University and one photo ID proof along with them at the examination centre.

  • Before start preparation, understand the syllabus.
  • Create your own time table and followed it strictly.
  • Make short notes and revised the all topics and highlights the important topics.
  • During preparation, maintain your health.
  • Do exercises, it will help you to focus on your studies.
