APPSC DEO Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates are advised to thoroughly read the official notification for the specific recruitment cycle, as it will provide detailed information on eligibility criteria, including educational qualifications, age limits, and any additional requirements. 

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must earn a first- or second-class postgraduate degree from an accredited organization or board in any field that is acceptable for entrance to the B.Ed. Program.

APPSC DEO Selection Process 2024

The applicants should complete the screening process and major tests. Candidates will be appointed based on their performance in the Main Examination, which will be conducted by the structure and curriculum outlined in Annexure II.

The applicants for the Computer Proficiency Test will be selected based on their performance in the Main Examination.

Candidates must pass the computer proficiency test to be considered for appointment to the Post Deputy Educational Officer position in the A.P. Educational Service.

APPSC DEO Salary 2024 

The general APPSC DEO salary formula is as follows: base salary + 50% of DA, HRA, TA, and other allowances like TDS and pension; this is also known as the “AppSC DEO net salary thumb rule” for hard salary, which is equal to four times basic pay. 5,200 base pay equates to an income of almost 28,000.
