DMRC Selection Process 2024: Check the Complete Procedure

According to the previous year, the number of vacancies for Customer Relations Assistant (CRA) is 1100, and for Station Controller/Train Operator (SC/TO), there were 662 vacancies.

There are three stages to the DMRC Asst. Manager (Electrical, Civil, S&T, Operations, HR, and Finance) selection process. The candidates have to qualify for each stage to be recruited for the desired post. The DMRC Selection Process is given below.

  • GDPI (Group Discussion and Personal Interview).

DMRC Selection Process for SC/TO (NE 01) and CRA (NE 02)

The DMRC Recruitment for the post of Station Controller/Train Operator (NE 01) and Customer Relations Assistant (CRA) is a four-stage process. The various stages in the DMRC Selection Process are given below:

  • Medical Examination

DMRC Selection Process for JE (NE 03-06)

It is a non-executive post that has the maximum number of applications per year. The selection process will be posted in a 3-stage process. The candidates have to qualify for all the stages given below.

Physical Standards

To be selected for the DMRC process, candidates must satisfy the medical fitness criteria as well. According to the various posts, the criteria for physical standards tend to vary. It is important to check the specific details of a post before applying.

The DMRC physical standards that a candidate must meet are given below:

  • All candidates will be required to undergo some medical fitness tests.
  • If the candidate is taking the medical exam for the first time, the expenses will be paid by DMRC.
  • If a candidate seeks an extension for joining or re-examination, then the second time around the medical examination’s expenditure will have to be borne by the candidate.
  • The noteworthy point is that applicants who have undergone Lasik surgery are not suitable for any posts other than an office assistant, account assistant, and stenographer.

In addition to the written examination, the candidate must pass a medical test to be selected by DMRC. Those who fail to pass the exam by the desired standards will not be given any other job. The final decision will be taken by the Delhi Metro Railway Corporation in this case.
