GATE Application Form Correction 2024
The application process of GATE 2024 is closed. The application form was available in online mode only. The registered candidates had the opportunity to correct by logging into their accounts. Candidates could edit their name, date of birth, parent’s name, educational qualification details, and exam city.

Correction in Examination City
Candidates could edit/modify the Examination City if they had made an error while filling out the application form. The correction could be done only in the online mode. Candidates had the opportunity to log in to GOAPS Website. To log in, the candidates had to enter their Application ID/Email ID & Password and press the submit button. Candidates had to pay the application correction fee of INR 750 after correction.
Correction in Gender & Category
Candidates could also make changes in Gender, Category, and PWD Status. Candidates can edit these details by logging into the GOAPS website by entering their Application ID/Email ID & Password and making the necessary changes in the application details. The correction could be done in online mode only.
Application Fee Details for Gender & Category
- The Application Fee for Gender Change was Rs. 750/-, candidates could change their Gender from Male to Female or Female to Male or Transgender.
- The Application Fee for Category Change was Rs. 750/-, Candidates could change their category from SC/ST to Gen/OBC.
- The Application Fee for PWD Status Change was Rs. 750/-, Candidates could change from PwD to Non-PwD.
How to Make Correction in GATE Application Form?
As the deadline has passed by and GATE 2022 has been conducted successfully. For future reference, candidates can follow the steps given below to make changes in the application form:
Step 1:Visit The Official Website of GATE and log in by entering the Application ID/Email-ID & Password.
Step 2: Visit the GATE Application Form.
Step 3: Click on “Edit” and make changes to the GATE Application Form.
Step 4: Submit Changes to GATE Application Form.
Step 5: In the last step, pay the GATE correction fee and take a printout of the modified application form.
