Introduction

The Centralized Counseling for M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan./M.Des. (CCMT-2023) is a platform for the candidates to apply for M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan./M.Des. programs, based on their GATE score of years 2020, 2021, and 2022 in all NITs, IIEST Shibpur, some IIITs & GFTIs.

The candidates can fill out the single online application form and upload the required documents to apply to the aforementioned programs in all the participating institutions. • Only those candidates who clear the GATE examination 2023 can appear for the GATE CCMT Counseling.
• The Counseling Process will be done only in the online mode.
• Candidates can apply for counseling for their institutes based on their performance in the GATE 2023 examination.
• The Private Institutes and the State universities will have their own counseling process.
• The CCMT (Centralized Counseling for M.Tech) is the online procedure for admission in the NITs(National Institutes of Technologies) and other Institutes.
• The Counseling process will be completely based on GATE Score Card.

GATE CCMT Counseling Process 2023

The GATE Counseling process is done in several steps, check below:

Step 1- Online Registration, Choice Filling: Candidates can fill out the online application form, choose to fill and lock the choice.

Step 2- Online Fee: The Registration fee can be paid in online mode only by using a Credit/Debit Card or by internet banking. Candidates can pay the registration fee of INR 2200/- for general category candidates can INR 1700/- for the SC/ST/PWD Candidates.

Step 3- Online Seat Allotment: After the payment of the registration fee, candidates can fill their choice, and lock it. You can also take the help of the help centers for registration and choice filling in case of any ambiguities.

The seat will be allotted on the basis of the merit list, after the allotment of the seat candidates can deposit the acceptance fee of INR 20,000/- on the online mode by using a Credit/Debit card or by Internet Banking.

Step 4- Reporting at the Center: After paying the seat acceptance fee, candidates can personally report to the reporting center. Candidates must bring their original documents for verification purposes at the reporting center.

Candidates can also submit their self-attested photograph on all the needed documents along with the seat acceptance fee proof. After submitting all the documents, the authority will issue the document verification certificate.

Step 5- Payment of Seat Confirmation: Those candidates who have allotted the seat can complete their seat confirmation process by paying the INR 10,000/-,.This is the seat confirmation fee.

Step 6- Report at the institute and pay the remaining fee: After paying the seat confirmation fee, the authority will allot the institute to the candidate, and they can pay the remaining fee thereafter.
