JEE Main Exam Dates 2023 [Rescheduled]: Registration, Admit Card & More

  • NTA has announced the JEE Main Results for Session 1, and the result for Session 2 is awaited.

JEE Main is a national-level entrance exam organized by NTA every year. After qualifying for this exam, candidates can get admission in B.Tech/ B.E/ B.Arch/ B.Plan courses in prestigious engineering institutions like IITs, NITs, CFTIs, etc. As per the official notifications, this exam will be conducted twice.

NTA had released the official notification on jeemain.nta.nic.in and had rescheduled the exam dates due to the clash with board exam dates. The JEE Main exam dates were:

  • June 2023: June 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 20, 2023

The exam is conducted separately for Paper 1 (B.Tech/ B.E) and Paper 2 (B.Arch/ B.Plan). The Paper1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments, as well as an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs.

JEE Main Application Form 2023

Key highlights of JEE Main application form are given below:

  • Candidates must make sure that they are eligible by checking the eligibility criteria diligently.
  • Registration details must be valid & authentic, or it may lead to rejection.
  • Students are also allowed to correct any mistakes while filling out the application and submitting the form.
  • The registration process contains several steps – Online registration, filling out the application form, uploading images of photograph/signature/documents, payment of application fee, etc.
  • After successful registration, students must print out the application form for future reference.

Application Fee

The application fee is payable through online mode only. There is no provision for offline mode payment. Candidates can pay the online application fee using a debit card/ credit card /net banking/ PAYTM or UPI method.

JEE Main Application Correction 2023

  • This year, there was no correction facility to make changes in the application form after completing the registration process.
  • No modification could be done to the photographs or signatures uploaded in the form.
  • Aspirants were advised to diligently fill out the application form and re-check it before submitting it.
  • No corrections sent by candidates through post/Whatsapp/ email/ by hand were entertained by NTA.
