BITSAT Eligibility Criteria

For appearing in the engineering entrance exam candidates need to fulfills the complete eligibility criteria.  Before you are going to fill BITSAT application form you need to check your eligibility first then go for that. If any candidates will not fulfills the eligibility criteria then it may fails their candidature. Check here the complete eligibility criteria.

For B.Pharma

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from the recognized board.
  • Appearing Candidates: Those who are appearing in the qualifying examination or appearing in 10+2 exams are also eligible to apply.
  • Minimum Marks: 75% marks are required for the PCB group. 60% marks in each subjects is necessary.
  • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology are the required subjects in the qualifying exam. Candidates must be fluent in the English Language.

For all courses except B.Pharma

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from the recognized board.
  • Minimum Marks: The candidate must have 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. Same for the PCB group.
  • 60% marks are required for the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology.
  • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology are the required subjects in the qualifying exam. Candidates must be fluent in the English Language.

Some Important Instructions

  • A candidates who attempted qualifying examination two or three times then his last year will be considered as their qualifying examination.
  • Those have passed qualifying examination in 2017 or before 2017 are not eligible to apply in BITSAT 2019.
  • Those who already pursuing their first year bachelor degree from the BITSAT 2019.
  • Those who want to admission in the BITS Campuses need to appear in the BITSAT but this is possible if he fulfills the eligibility criteria of BITSAT Examination.

BITSAT Exam Pattern

Here we are listed BITSAT Exam Pattern:

  • Duration: Total three hours (without break).
  • Exam Mode: Computer based mode.
  • Type of Question: Multiple choice questions.
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct answer you will get 3 marks.
  • Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
  • Number of Question: Total 150 questions are in the question paper.
