 The duration of 3 hours for each papers wherein candidates will be answering a total of 65 questions and be of total 100 marks..
 GATE Exam 2018 is based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Numerical Answer Type(NAT).
 GATE Exam 2018 Questions is based on three sections – Engineering Mathematics (15 marks), General Aptitude (15) and Subjectsspecific section (70).
 A question can carry 1 or 2 marks. For incorrect, onethird of the marks will be deducted. Also, questions that aren’t attempted, zero marks will be awarded and there will be no negative marking for numerical answer type (NAT) questions.
