Staff Selection Commission or SSC organizes SSC CPO (Central Police Organizations) recruitment exam every year for the post of SI (Sub Inspector) in the Delhi Police/CAPF /ITBP/BSF/SSB department in the Central Police Organization (CPO). The candidates who wish to appear for the SSC CPO exam must not be more than 30 years old (In the case of SC/ST candidates: 35 years and for OBC candidates: 33 years).

How to fill out SSC CPO Application Form?
Through only online mode, the application form can be filled. The complete procedure for filling the SSC CPO Application Form 2023 is given below:
Part 1: Registration
Visit the official website, ssc.nic.in, and enter the following details in the application form:
- Name
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Nationality
- Mobile Number
- Email ID
Once you complete all the above-given details, you need to click on the “Register” button. After successful registration, the conducting authority will send the application number and password, which is created by you at the time of registration in your registered email id and mobile number.
Note: It is advised that the candidates must provide the correct email Id and password as the conducting authority contacts via this communication channel and no other medium.
Step 2: Confirm the Password
Candidates need to confirm their password and application number by login in through these details on the website sent by the exam authority in the candidate’s registered mail.

Generation of Application Number: After entering all the essential details, the candidate needs to click on the “Submit” button, which will generate an application number. The candidate needs to note it down as it will be required for future correspondence.
Step 4: Upload Photo & Signature
Upload your scanned images (passport-size photographs, signature) in the application form according to the guidelines given by the SSC.
Part II: Online Application Form
- Visit the official website through login credentials.
- In this part, give 3 preferences of exam centers nearest to your place.
- Complete the declaration by clicking the ‘I Agree on the checkbox, and filling up the captcha code.
- On completion, preview it thoroughly and submit it.
- Once the scanned images are successfully uploaded, candidates need to pay the application fee which is Rs. 100-/.
- Payment Mode: Candidates can pay the application form via only online and offline mode, i.e. NetBanking / Credit card/ Debit card or SBI Challan.
- There is no need to send a hard copy of the application form to the conducting authority.
- Take a printout of the SSC CPO application form for future references.
How to check the status of the SSC CPO Application Form?
- Click on the ‘check application status’ link which is available on the official website.
- Enter your credentials – SSC CPO Application Number and verification code
- Click on the Submit button.
- The status of the SSC CPO Application Form will appear on the computer screen.
SSC CPO Application Fee
Those who are submitting their application fee via offline mode need to pay Rs. 100-/ through SBI Challan. In case, the fee is paid through challan, it will get updated within two to three days. The fee is non-refundable. The authority will not refund the application fee under any condition.
