Eligibility

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent pointer/CGPA (45% for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PWD)/Differently Abled (DA) classification)

Exam Pattern

The Common Admission Test has 3 test segments viz: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning which sum up to a total of 100 questions. Each question comprises 3 marks with a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong question. No marks are deducted for unattended questions.

2. XAT Exam

XAT Exam

XAT is the abbreviation for Xaviers Admission Test which is conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur. This is a widely accepted entrance exam as more than 700 top B-schools across India accept the XAT score. It is a national-level entrance test that is conducted every year. The exam is conducted online in the English language only.

Eligibility

The candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute in any stream. There is no definite cut-off for bachelor’s percentage or CGPA for XAT.

Exam Pattern

The XAT exam comprises four sections viz: Decision Making, Verbal & Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge. There will be an overall of 100 MCQs which must be answered in the duration of 180 minutes. The candidates will be bestowed 1 mark for each right answer, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. 0.1 marks will be deducted for more than eight unattempted questions. There will be no negative marking in the GK section

3. MAT Exam

MAT is the abbreviation for Management Aptitude Test which is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) four times every year. These tests are conducted in the months of February, May, September, and December. MAT is a highly renowned management entrance exam as it is accepted in around 600+ B-schools around India. The candidates have the option of giving the paper as CBT (Computer Based Test) or PBT (Paper Based Test)

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in min. 3 years or equivalent in any discipline is required to appear for the MAT Entrance Exam. Unlike other MBA entrance exams, MAT does not have any minimum percentage criteria for eligibility. It does not have any age bar either.

Exam Pattern

The MAT exam is conducted both online and offline. The MAT paper consists of 200 MCQs of 1 mark each. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The paper is divided into 5 sections namely: Indian and Global Environment, Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence, and Critical Reasoning.

4. SNAP Exam

SNAP is the abbreviation of the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test which is conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University every year. It is a national-level entrance test that has over 50,000 candidates appearing for it every year. It is accepted by 16 Symbiosis institutes like SIBM Pune and SCMHRD Pune for admission in MBA/PGDM courses.

Eligibility

The candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ST candidates). Final year candidates can also appear for the SNAP test, but their admission will remain provisional until they submit their final mark sheets.

Exam Pattern

The SNAP test consists of three sections viz: General English, Quantitative-Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency, Analytical and Logical Reasoning. There are a total of 110 questions of a total of 150 marks. The exam is conducted online, and the duration of the test is 2 hours. The test is conducted in English only.

5. NMAT Exam

NMAT or Narsee Monjee Management Aptitude Test is a national-level entrance test for MBA/PGDM courses conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). A unique feature of this test is that it provides students with a wide window of 75 days to appear for the exam and a candidate can appear for the exam 3 times in every academic year. It is a very crucial exam if you want to enroll in any NMIMS University as they do not accept any test score other than NMAT allows candidates to apply for 37 business schools in India, along with 7 in South Africa, and 5 in the Philippines.

The candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA. Final year candidates can also appear for NMAT, but their admission will remain provisional until they submit their final mark sheets.

Exam Pattern

The NMAT exam consists of three sections viz: Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning. It comprises a total of 120 MCQs of 3 marks each. The best thing about NMAT is that there is no negative marking involved.

6. CMAT Exam

CMAT stands for the Common Management Admission Test which is conducted every year by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in the direction of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. It is one of the most renowned MBA/PGDM entrance tests as it is accepted in over 100 business schools in India like JBIMS, Great Lakes Institute, SIMSREE, and many more. The registration for the exam is done online only. Similarly, the exam is also conducted online.

Exam Pattern

The CMAT test comprises four sections viz Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness with 25 questions in each section. All the questions are in MCQ format with each question consisting of 4 marks each with a negative marking of 1 mark. The duration of the test is 3 hours.

7. IIFT Exam

IIFT stands for the Indian Institute of Foreign Trades, and the IIFT entrance exam is conducted for providing admissions for MBA in International Business at various IIFTs (Delhi, Kolkata, and Kakinada). It is conducted by the National Testing Agency once a year. The exam, as well as the registration process, is done online only.

8. MAH CET

MAHCET is the abbreviation for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test which is conducted by State CET Cell – Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. Around 330+ colleges in and around Maharashtra accept the MAH CET score. JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya, PUMBA, Welingkar, IESMCRC, CIMR, N L Dalmiya, SIES are some top colleges that accept the MAH CET score.

Eligibility

As per the government of Maharashtra, the candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute or university in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA (455 for reserved candidates)

Exam Pattern

The MAH CET examination consists of 4 sections with varying numbers of Questions in Each Section. The four sections are- Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension. There are a total of 200 questions (both MCQ and non-MCQ format) of one mark each. There is no negative marking in MAHCET

9. AJEE

AJEE stands for AISECT Joint Entrance Exam which is conducted by AISECT. AISECT is now known as Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal. AJEE 2021 is set to be held on May 25 offline and May 26 to June 26 online at various test centers across the country.

The candidate applying for AJEE must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute or university in any stream with at least 50% aggregate ( 40% in case of SC/ST)

10. APICET

APICET is the abbreviation for the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test which is conducted by Sri Venkateswara University on behalf of the APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education)annually to take admissions for MBA and MCA (and MCA lateral entry) courses. APICET is a state-level entrance exam which is conducted online. THE APICET 2020 is set to be held on April 27, 2020. This exam is held in online mode.

11. APIIT NAT

APIIT NAT stands for the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology National Aptitude Test. It is conducted by the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology, Panipat every year to take in admissions in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. 12. ATMA

ATMA stands for AIMS Test for Management Admission and is conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) five times in an academic session to take in admissions for various MBA and PGDM courses. It is a national-level entrance exam, and its score is accepted by top management colleges in India.

Eligibility

The candidate applying for ATMA must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute or university in any stream with at least 50% marks in graduation. Final Year candidates and Chartered Accountants are also eligible for application.

Exam Pattern

ATMA is conducted as a CBT (computer-based test). There will be a total of 180 MCQs, and the duration of the test will be 180 minutes. Every question carries 1 mark each, and there is a negative marking of 0.25 mark for every wrong answer.

13. AUAT

AUAT stands for Aliah University Admission Test and is conducted by Aliah University, Kolkata to take in admissions for both UG and PG courses. The exam is conducted offline. The application process starts from March 20 till April 20 for UG courses and MA Theology, and from May 15 to June 15, 2020, for all the PG courses.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for AUAT vary as per the course opted by the student. For MBA courses, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute or university in any stream with at least 60% marks in graduation. The candidate must also be a resident of West Bengal for at least 10 years for applying in General Quota.

Exam Pattern

The AUAT is a university-level test that is conducted in offline mode. The candidates get 120 minutes to solve 100 MCQs. Each question consists of 1 mark each. There is no negative marking in AUAT.

14. BMAT

Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune conducts BMAT to accept admissions in MBA programs in colleges associated with it. It is a university-level entrance test that is conducted in two phases. The first phase of BVP BMAT 2020 will be conducted on March 22, 2020, and the second on April 19, 2020, in offline mode. The results will be announced on April 27, 2020.

Eligibility

The candidate applying for BMAT must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute or university in any stream with at least 50% marks (45% in the case of SC/ST candidates). Final Year candidates are also eligible for application. There is no age limit set for the exam.

The paper will be conducted in the offline (PBT) mode. BMAT consists of a total of 200 multiple choice questions, and the students get 150 minutes to answer them. Every question carries 1 mark each, and there is no negative marking applicable.

15. CUCET

CUCET is an abbreviation for Central Universities Common Entrance Test which is conducted by the Central University of Rajasthan every year. It is a national-level entrance test that provides admissions into various UG, PG & other courses offered by the central universities across India. Along with the central universities, Dr B. R. Ambedkar School of Economics also accepts the CUCET scores.

Eligibility

The candidate applying for CUCAT must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute or university in any stream with at least 55% marks (50% in case of reserved categories) in graduation. Final Year candidates are also eligible for application.

16. FDDI AIST

Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) conducts the FDDI All India Selection Test (AIST) to accept admission to various Bachelor’s Degree & Master’s Degree Programmes offered by the institute. The FDDI AIST is set to be held on May 24, 2020. FDDI offers MBA in Retail & Fashion Merchandise. The application fee of FDDI AIST is INR 500.

The candidate applying for FDDI AIST must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute or university in any stream. Final Year candidates are also eligible for application. There is no age limit for candidates applying for UG courses.

The paper will be conducted in offline mode (PBT). There will be a total of 200 MCQs, and the duration of the test will be 150 minutes. The maximum mark for the test is 200.

17. GMAT

The Graduation Management Admission Test, or as we all know it, GMAT is a computer-adaptive that assesses a candidate on three parameters- analytical writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills. By computer-adaptive, we mean that the level and difficulty of the question present before the candidate depends upon the previous answer given by them. This exam is conducted for taking in applications of MBA aspirants who want to get admission to the top and most prestigious business colleges in the world.

Eligibility

The candidate must be above 18 years of age. If the candidate is between 13-17, they should provide the parents’/legal guardian’s consent in writing. The candidate must also have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized organization. However, there has been no official guideline regarding the educational background of GMAC.

Exam Pattern

GMAT consists of 80 questions to be attempted within 3 hours 7 minutes. The exam has no set syllabus and is divided into four sections. It is a computer-adaptive test, and the maximum marks in GMAT are 800.

18. HBSAT

HBSAT stands for Hyderabad Business School Admission Test and is conducted annually by Hyderabad Business School under GITAM University. The institute offers two MBA programs, namely, MBA Fintech and MBA Dual Specialisation. Candidates from all over the world can apply for this exam.

Eligibility

The candidate applying for HBSAT must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute or university in any stream with at least 50% marks. Final Year candidates are also eligible for application. here is no age limit stated to be eligible for the exam.

Exam Pattern

HBSAT is conducted as a CBT (computer-based test). There are a total of 100 questions, and the duration of the test will be 90 minutes. Every question carries 1 mark each, and there is no negative marking in the test.

19. HPU MAT

HPU MAT stands for Himachal Pradesh University Management Aptitude Test which is conducted by HPU Business School. It is a state-level entrance exam and is set to be held on 25 May 2020

Eligibility

The candidate applying for HPU MAT must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute or university in any stream with at least 50% marks (45% in the case of reserved categories). Final Year candidates are also eligible for application. The upper age limit for male applicants is 26 and 28 for females. HPU MAT is conducted as a PBT (pen-paper-based test). There are a total of 200 MCQs, and the duration of the test will be 120 minutes. Every question carries 1 mark each, and there is no negative marking in the test.

20. IBSAT

IBSAT stands for ICFAI Business Studies Aptitude Test, which is conducted once a year in online mode by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education. IBSAT scores are accepted by 9 ICFAI Business Schools viz. IBS Hyderabad, IBS Mumbai, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Pune, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Kolkata, IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Jaipur, and IBS Dehradun. 21. IEMJE

IEMJEE is the abbreviation of the Institute of Engineering and Management Joint Entrance Exam, and it is conducted by the Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata every year to take admissions in various UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs. This exam is conducted in two phases on different dates at two campuses of IEM, i.e. Jaipur and Kolkata. It is conducted in both online and offline mode.

22. IMU CET

Indian Maritime University conducts the IMU CET every year for taking in admission in various UG and PG courses offered by its 5 campuses viz. Chennai, Cochin, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Vishakhapatnam. This exam is set to be held on January 4, 2020.

IRMASAT stands for the Institute of Rural Management Anand Social Awareness Test and is conducted by IRMA for taking in admissions in Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) course. IRMASAT will be held in the 1st week of February this year.

IUET is an abbreviation for the Integral University Entrance Test that is conducted by the Integral University of Uttar Pradesh, India, which initiated as the Institute of Integral Technology, Lucknow. IUET is a state-level entrance exam that is conducted every year and candidates of Uttar Pradesh Domicile can enroll for the same. The IUET is expected to be held in March 2020 in online mode. IU offers more than 106 programs in total, including UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs.

Exam Pattern

The exam is computer-based, there is no negative marking, and no marks will be added/deducted for unanswered questions. All the questions for all the courses are in MCQ format. However, the number of sections and syllabus depends on the choice of program. For the MBA program, the number of questions is 200, and each question carries 2 marks each.

26. JEMAT

The Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal conducts the state-level test Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test every year. The candidates can apply for JEMAT online through its official website. The courses offered through JEMAT are MBA and PG Diploma in Management. The JEMAT will be conducted in the 1st week of June 2020.

Eligibility

The candidate applying for JEMAT must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute or university in any stream with at least 50% marks. Final Year candidates are also eligible for application. Students from any country can apply for JEMAT as long as they submit a NOC from their High Commission along with the form hardcopy.

Exam Pattern

The paper will be conducted in the offline (PBT) mode. JEMAT consists of a total of 100 objective-type questions, and the students get 180 minutes to answer them. Every question carries 1 mark each, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer

27. JKLU MET

JK Lakshmipat​ University Management Entrance Test is conducted annually by JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur for admissions into various PGDM/MBA programs offered by the institute. The candidates can apply both online and offline. This year, the JKLU MET is expected to be conducted in 1st week of May.

Eligibility

The candidate applying for JKLU MET must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute or university in any stream with at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved categories) in graduation. Final Year candidates are also eligible for application.

Exam Pattern

The paper will be conducted in the offline (PBT) mode on OMR sheets. There will be a total of 100 multiple choice questions, and the candidate will be awarded 1 mark for every correct answer. There is no negative marking applicable.

28. JUEE

JUEE is conducted by Jagannath University three times a year to accept admissions into UG, PG and PhD programs. It is a university-level entrance exam. The score of JUEE is accepted only in Jagannath University, Rajasthan. There are two campuses of Jagannath University, one is in Jaipur, and the other one is in Delhi. JUEE is conducted in three phases (thrice) every year. The JUEE 2020 application is easily available online on the official website or can be collected by the university campus. The JUEE application forms will be released in April 2020. The JUEE 2020 will be conducted on April 15, 2020, 20th May 2020, and June 17, 2020. It is a pen-paper-based test and is conducted offline. The paper has a very general marking scheme and has only MCQs. The duration of the JUEE is 2 hours, and there are three sections, namely, physics, chemistry, and mathematics.

29. Karnataka PGCET

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducts Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test. It is a state-level entrance test, and 200+ colleges accept the Karnataka PGCET test scores. It is set to be held on July 20 – 21, 2020. Both government and private colleges of Karnataka accept admissions through this test.

KIITEE stands for the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Exam which is conducted annually by Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology for taking admissions in MBA, UG, PG engineering and law courses. Students can apply for it both online and offline. This year, KIITEE will be held on January 18 – 20, 2020. 31. KMAT Kerala

Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) conducts the Kerala Management Aptitude Test twice a year. It is a state-level entrance exam. The first phase of KMAT 2020 has already been held, and the second phase will be conducted on May 17, 2020.

Lovely Professional University conducts the Lovely Professional University National Eligibility and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) for various courses and scholarships in the same. The application and the test both are held online-only, and there are around 200 Exam centers of LPUNEST across the country. Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for LPUNEST 2020.

33. MCAER PG CET

Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board conducts the Maharashtra Council Of Agriculture Education And Research Common Entrance Test (MCAER PG CET) for admission to various PG programs. MCAER PG CET 2020 will be conducted in offline mode on multiple dates in the month of March. It is a state-level entrance exam, and the candidates can apply for it online through the official website.

34. MICAT

Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad conducts the MICA Admission Test which is a national-level entrance test to accept admissions into various PGDM and PGDM-C courses offered by the institute. MICAT is held two times in every academic year as MICAT I and MICAT II. The best of the two scores will be considered for the candidates who appear for both phases. 35. NIPER JEE

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) conducts the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) for accepting admissions into various Postgraduate and Doctorate level courses in the field of Pharmacy. Rama University Entrance Test or RUET is a national aptitude test conducted by Rama University, Kanpur to accept admissions in Graduate, Postgraduate, Research courses. RUET 2020 registration will start from the 1st week of February and the exam will be held in the 1st week of June.

43. SUAT

Sharda University, Greater Noida conducts the SUAT (Sharda University Admission Test) annually to accept admissions into courses like B.Tech., BCA, MCA, B.Tech., MBA, Journalism & Mass Communication & Design, Integrated Law, BA (Hons) & B.Sc. A student who has already appeared for a national or state-level entrance exam is not liable to appear for SUAT. The exam will be held on 12-15 July 2020. It will be held across 58 test centers in India.

More than 446 colleges across Tamil Nadu accept the TANCET score and are set to be held on Feb 29, 2021, for the MBA program. The result will be declared on March 23, 2021.

45. TSICET

Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test or TSICET is conducted by the Kakatiya University on behalf of TSCHE (Telangana State Council for Higher Education) annually to accept admissions in MBA and MCA programs offered by the universities Telangana. The registration process for TSICET 2020 begins from February 2020 on the official website. Around 150+ colleges participate in TSICET to offer a total of 23,358 seats. The test will commence from 16 till 18 May 2020. This is a state-level entrance exam that can be given by candidates from the Uttar Pradesh domicile.
